So this review is a true mix. I am staying at the hotel attached to the Creekside Cafe. So for breakfast Monday and Thursday the morning waitress staff seems to make the littlest effects for greeting customers. Granted it is buffet style breakfast. Monday and Tuesday, no descriptions on the hot food, had to get my own coffee and water. The biggest thing is that they don’t open the front entrance. Even though the signs are posted to enter in one location. Confusing at best, Wednesday through Sunday it’s like a completely different vibe. Greeted by a very nice staff that opens on time, food is labeled, coffee and water is on the table and the front entrance is open. The food is really good, and OYG you need to come for Sunday Brunch. So I have decided to come for dinner. Got off work late and didn’t want to go out. Well my dinner options were not much. Granted I did show up at 9:30, the bartender didn’t see/recognize me until 9:50 and said that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. My dinner options were chocolate cake or cheese cake. Asked for an Irish coffee. No coffee so the option given was an Expresso martini to go with the chocolate cake. No water given (asked for) plastic fork and no napkins. I had to get my own. Been coming here for over 10 years. Before 2021 the bar area rocked.

No review for food or drink.
The wait staff did not acknowledge us, we waited and looked over. All they did was glance at us but didn’t greet or tell us that they would be right with us.
There is a convention going on but there were only 3 other tables there that had food.
We ended up leaving, which not only was time wasted waiting there but now we are searching for other eating places no located at our hotel.
The atmosphere was quiet but the staff didn’t bother to take anytime acknowledging us. This is extremely disappointing since the restaurant was boring with the lack of people.
As a server I hate leaving bad reviews, but I did not feel welcome.

The House burger is cooked rare, apparently. I tried their menu this weekend (1/15/2021) and was disgusted. I tried a bite and it was barely warm in the middle, and I’m pretty sure this is why I felt sick later in the day.

I didn’t want to even give one star. Brunch style breakfast, every item was cold!! It’s was $18 per person too!! So $36 for cold food! I mentioned this to the waitress who said
” she’d look into it” . Didn’t offer to compensate us in any way at all. I rarely complain and wouldn’t do it to be cheap to try and get a discount either, but when the food is terrible and cold and you speak up they should offer to do something at least. I will NEVER go back to this place again,I’d rather go hungry!!!

We were attending an event at the hotel this restaurant is in so we decided to try dinner there.
The menu is limited and with food sensitivities I had some trouble picking something I could eat. I did have the usual trouble getting a non-alc drink without the things I can’t have in it since they don’t carry anything with real sugar. The food was all right, but not what I’d expect for the price.

Sunday’s brunch was all aces though– excellent spread of diverse foods, all well-prepared and kept ready. Someone could even have chocolate cake for breakfast if they wanted-I almost did!

I’d go back for the brunch and maybe the Friday pasta bar, but not really interested in the regular menu.

Myself and six of my family members attended the Mother’s Day brunch yesterday at Creekside Cafe at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We were disappointed by the brunch this year and won’t be returning next year. Several of the items listed on the advertised menu were not available (smoked salmon, mashed potatoes), and many of the hot items were cold and/or undercooked. The waffles were cold and dry. The boursin hash browns were undercooked (crunchy potatoes) and cold, even when a fresh pan was brought out. By the time we were going up for a second plate, many things were running out and when we asked they were gone with no plan to replace them. My niece really wanted mac and cheese but it was gone before she could take any. This was at 12:45 pm. As far as I knew the brunch lasted until 2 pm.

Also, our $10 mimosas were all orange juice. There was no champagne in them.

Our experience this year was completely different from last year, however. Everything was amazing last year.

I understand inflation has affected everyone, but $39 per person for brunch is a lot of money. We spent nearly $400 and left feeling disappointed ($70 of our bill was just orange juice in a champagne glass).

Additionally, my sister found a whipped cream can cap in her food.

The Breakfast buffet is really good here. They have a lot of choices and they are good quality choices. You can go back lots of times and try something new each time. Well above average for buffet items. Made to order omelette station as well. I make it a point to eat here any time I stay at the crown plaza.

Sat at the bar to take the edge off & the lady behind the bar was absolutely fabulous! Sweet smile, knowledgable about the menu & extremely friendly! Made one of the BEST martinis i have ever tasted! Kathleen is an asset to this establishment & the reason I will come back again.

I like the setting at the Creekside as it’s very relaxing. Had dinner there on July 3rd so I wasn’t expecting anything too terrific. The service was good, but the prime rib sandwich I had was way too salty and tasted a bit leftover. Even so I know we’ll go back as I’m sure the reason why the food wasn’t up to par was because it was the day before a holiday.

SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET – Don’t miss it.

It’s an upscale spot with tons of seating and a private event / party room on the side. Highlights from the brunch buffet include: caramel rolls, bacon, salmon, fruit bar, waffle bar, and certainly the made to order omelette line. I’d caffeinate beforehand though if you need good coffee.
