The Empanada Spot!
Spot on empanadas, made to order fresh!
Lots of flavors here ( see pic’s), you’ll know right away these empanadas are prepared by a well established chef with many years of experience!
Inside this sparking clean little shop, it might be small, but in a tremendous way it has a very friendly and helpful staff turning out the best crispy, tasty empanadas around.
They are nicely filled up too with all the goodness we love stuffed inside! Such a good Spot…

I’ve been craving corn shredded beef & potato empanadas for years! I always avoided going to Mama’s Empanadas because of the traffic and impossible parking, and after trying so many nearby spots, none ever had tasted quite right.
I’m so glad I gave this place a try! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, it’s even better than Mama’s! Definitely my new go to spot!!

Great spot with an awesome staff, they have a huge selection of Empanadas, even “Desert Empanadas”. They are very good, at least the ones we tried.

You walk in, and the place is immaculately clean. Absolutely spotless. The guys behind the counter were very friendly. The food is amazing to say the least. I got several different empanadas, and they were all delicious. Everything was clean, labeled, organized; which made it easy to distribute amongst my guests

The food is pretty good, but the young woman behind the counter treated my wife very disrespectfully. Respect can go a long way, especially when you spend $100+. Can’t go back here. Hire respectful people and this place can make more money. From some other reviews you can tell it’s becoming a pattern. Good luck.

Take out fried Empanada. I used to need to go to Queens to get these. Many varieties from pepperoni pizza,(my favorite) to Philly steak all the ones I’ve had were terrific. Three stars on atmosphere due to takeout only. Very clean place. No disappointment here. Also dessert ones w/chocolate
Give them 15 minutes to prepare the order as they’re made to order. (Give em a few minutes to cool down.)

Got the Italian sausage, pernil, pepperoni pizza, and the chicken fajita empanadas and had them as takeout. Really great empanadas and really reasonably priced!!! Really great spot to go to for a delicious empanada. Next time: I have to try the traditional beef one.

I placed a prepaid order of over $100 for 30 empanadas at 11:00 a.m., clearly stating a 4:00 p.m. pickup. I arrived slightly early, waited patiently, and still had to ask for an update after 4:10 p.m. — only to be told my order was still defrosting.
Meanwhile, walk-in customers ordered and left before me. When I raised my concern, staff were dismissive instead of apologetic. A young lady wearing a hoodie and black eyeliner stated, “the customer isn’t always right,” which was unnecessary and unprofessional.
I understand Super Bowl Sunday is busy, but basic communication, accountability, and respect should still apply — especially for prepaid orders. This occurred today at approximately 4:15 p.m. Very disappointing experience.

This is a great place to pick up food, but I strongly recommend not ordering through Uber Eats. I was charged almost double my $30 order came out to $65 with fees. I canceled within minutes, but Uber Eats refused to refund it, stating the restaurant immediately accepts orders and doesn’t issue cancellations. I’ll continue to pick up in person, but I won’t use delivery services for this location. It appears the restaurant and delivery apps don’t have a good relationship.

Can’t get any better for a takeout place. The upside down brooklyn slice looked heavy but was surprisingly light, airy, and crispy. Pete shared his pizza science — three-day fermented dough and in and out of the oven three times to get the perfect consistency. Fantastic all around. The eggplant stack? I think that’s what it’s called, is excellent — light & crispy, not soggy.
