It’s not the same.
I’ve been going to Costa Vida since the first one opened in Utah. I was ecstatic when they opened one in UVU where I went to school. It has always been one of my favorite places and can’t even think of how many times I’ve ordered food there. I stopped by this one for lunch today and was let down for the first time ever.
I was the only person there right after noon which was weird. The tortilla they used looked like it’s been sitting on the counter for a while. She put on steak and I realized I wanted more so I asked for an extra serving. She confirmed that I wanted 4oz more then put on literally the last 2 small pieces she had in the bin and called for more steak. She took my salad to the other side of the counter and figured she’d put the rest on later. We finished up the toppings and dressings and she slapped a lid on. Someone else checked me out and she made sure to tell him about the extra bite of steak she put on. I needed to get back to work so I didn’t argue, just got my drink and left. The chips on top were stale too. The order for the salad, a literal extra bite of steak, and a drink was over $30. I know prices had to go up but it’s hard not to notice it when I didnt even get what I was paying for.

Went in for dinner last night, Tuesday. The place was packed! The employees were nice, never had an attitude, like I’ve experienced before in places that are busy, and they all seemed worked well together. The place was clean, our food tasted great (chicken nachos, veggie salad, steak burrito and chile lime quesadilla) and looked great! I like this crew, and we enjoyed our visit!

Great job on good service and helping me maneuver my app. Food was delicious but cilantro needed to be changed out. Part of it was black and slimy. I had to pick it out of my salad.

I’ve been to all of Costa Vida’s. I spent $17 for steak salad. Definitely too expensive for that kind of food. I came for lunch. While I was there, only 2 people went through the restaurant.

Fresh and Spacious
Costa Vida delivers on freshness every time. The veggies taste crisp and the food is delicious across the board. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious which makes it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal.

Placed an online order that was supposed to be ready by 8:55. Get there and told it’s not ready and no chicken, whatever I wait. Keep in mind there has been at least 6 people come in and out and complete there orders. After 15mins past the promised time I ask about my order. They haven’t even started it and I get excuses of how they are out chicken again after I was told that as soon I arrived. I asked for some form of compensation or discount as the entire purpose of the online order has been worthless at this point and I’ve waited an additional 15mins. Guy in the grey shirt
Who I guess is the shift lead immediately says no and he can’t do anything about it and doesn’t even apologize for his lack of ability to maintain a shift with the proper items. Will be reaching out Tuesday as I’m not satisfied with this outcome at all !!

Tastes amazing! Their cilantro lime dressing tastes amazing. Being dairy free I can only have the beans and chicken (all other meats and rice have dairy ) they do charge a dollar for guak which would be fine if it wasn’t a miniscule 2tbsp. It’s fresh and their tortillas as fresh made that day, amazing tasting! 4/5 stars because of the dairy in the beef? Who does that??? We’ve decided it’s a decent replacement for Qdoba although I’m still sad they’re gone! That brisket…..
