The food is really great. We enjoyed it a lot. It is tasty and the price is affordable for its location and serving size. The owner (i guess) is very friendly, jolly, and nice.
I ordered the salmon bagel, and it is delicious. As well as the beef sandwich and the chicken parmesan sandwich.

Came here for my birthday breakfast with my boyfriend and we were NOT disappointed. The guy behind the counter was welcoming and friendly and got us some coffee right away. I got a western breakfast sandwich on a croissant and he had a sausage egg and cheese on a everything bagel. The food was fresh and hot. We sat at the table by the window and what a beautiful view. The weather was perfect and so was this cute little cafe. Deff try them out.

I’m a local and love to drop in and get a coffee and breakfast sandwich to go and then go sit on the “boulevard” across the street – which has a magnificent views of Gloucester Harbor. Coffee is always fresh and ground per order and my favorites are the bacon or sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on a croissant. Also available on bagels. The owner is very friendly, service is great, all around I’d give the Waterfront Cafe an A+. Prices seem quite reasonable, especially when compared to a couple of other places in the downtown area. Very clean. Seating is available inside. I haven’t tried lunch there yet, but I plan to soon. I’m more of a breakfast person. I believe they are open late-ish for dinner also. Plenty of parking. The Waterfront Cafe is not far from the famous Fisherman’s Monument, next to the convenience store, in the place where the ice cream shop once was, next to Yella Restaurant.

I ordered on Doordash. The delivery was quick, the food was phenomenal, fresh and hot. We ordered the lobster/egg breakfast sandwich which was lush and full of fresh lobster. We also ordered the two egg breakfast, hash browns, sausage, and toast and the egg and sausage sandwich and a nitro ice coffee. We love the seasoning they use on the eggs and potatoes. The coffee was top notch. We’ll definitely go in the summer order and eat outside on the boardwalk. This is the best breakfast we’ve had in Gloucester since moving here a few years ago.

Oh my God no matter what I get there it is out of this world amazing! My first time I just got an Italian sub and I don’t like saying this but my father had a restaurant here and everybody loved it but this is the best Italian sub that I ever had anywhere they beat my father’s Italian! if you ever want a excellent Italian sub you need to go there oh my God I had half of it and you can save the other half for later or you can eat it all but let me tell you Boston nowhere makes the best Italian but the Waterfront Cafe and they’re awesome they’re unbelievable they’re so nice and kind they treat you like family it’s amazing how you can just walk in and they know you or you know sometimes I’ll pull up there get my stuff ready cuz I’m running for work and he’ll come out and he knows my order in the am. Everything that I eat from there is out of this world they keep amazing me every time I order something different so order anything on that menu and you will be amazed and you will want to order there and go pick it up instead of getting a delivery from some other restaurant in this town but I’ll tell you what you want good food quality food fresh food you go to to the Waterfront Cafe that’s the best food from here to who knows where the Boston go there and you will be so happy and full satisfied!

Owner was friendly. The cashier was not. Not a hello, how are you… Then the ipad prompted for a tip. Why am I going to tip you for bad service?
Got a oreo milkshake. Nothing special. Its more milk than ice cream. I threw it in the trash.
