Everything here is excellent. Best pretzel bread ever. Lemon squares are delightful even though they are triangles!! The sourdoughs and ryes are among my favorites. Had raisin bread toast this morning…they do not scrimp.
We visit every time we’re in the area and have even driven there from Lawrence to buy baked goods.
Oh … the peanut butter cookies are favorites…and the molasses.
Did I mention English muffins and scones?

Stopped in first time today. The blueberry scone is amazing. The only downside is they couldn’t heat anything up for me. I bought a scone, cinnamon roll and pretzel. Would have been so much better warmed.

The staff was super helpful on our first visit. They had recommendations, directions for keeping the bread, and helped each other out. They got us to visit with their Monday meal deal, but we left with much more. Both of my teens are ready to go back and told me I found a good place!

Kind of bummed about the cinnamon roll. The thing is there’s no cinnamon in it. Well, I’m sure there’s a very small amount. The only thing it’s not visible. Nor can I taste any. Also, it’ll be nice if they were a bit yeasty, but I can’t really taste much yeast in them. They were kind of pricey at four bucks each I got three and it was $12 and some change if they were good I wouldn’t care. Check the photo for yourself about the cinnamon.

Their Pecan Pie bars should be called ‘Homewrecker’ bars because I might love these more than my husband if it meant I could have these things forever. So good. A buttery and salty crust, a gooey pecan filling and the crunch of pecans on top. Amazing.

Finally found good sourdough bread. The pecan pie is delicious as are the other breads and pastries. The staff are friendly and I love that its close to home.

1st time visit. Great bakery. Got there late afternoon so they were a low on items but we still got plenty of goods. Very tasty cinnamon rolls, lemon bar, light and delicious cream puffs – almost eclare like but lighter filling, Sour dough bread, Challah bread (which I can’t wait to make french toast out of) Also the prices were very reasonable will definitely be back.

I ordered the English Muffins from Market Wagon. Hands down, the best I have ever had. They are large, wonderfully doughy, crisp up to perfection, and make the best sandwiches. I have not stopped finding uses for them. They are better than the best bagel. Absolutely worth every penny…

Oh my goodness! Everything I got was delish. Fresh and wonderful. I got house made English muffins and I am now addicted! If you have these you’ll never go back to store bought. Also got a huge cream puff with chocolate on top. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Great place for your daily bread, pies, and small baked goods. I just wish they did bagels, not that it’s the same thing, but their English muffins are pretty good.
