Yum teriyaki! Fresh! Got the prawns skewers to add to the plate and flavorful. The meal is large enough to Feed two for petite people. Also got the prawns tempura, hot fresh and crispy! 5 star for a “fast food type” restaurant. Don’t get me wrong it’s not fine dining so I’m rating based on alternative to fast food choices of burgers or sandwich shops.

They Give you a large serving size of food. My favorite thing to order here is the Yaki soba with shredded beef. I also really like their rice dish. The food is good and enjoyable. The places usually quiet and peaceful. Whenever I come here the place is not very busy which is nice. It’s not a very large restaurant but It can seat a good amount of people.

By far the best chicken Teriyaki I’ve had. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very clean, friendly and fast. I always order the Teriyaki Chicken breast and they’re very consistent with the quality of food.

Joy Teryaki just plain sucks. I hadn’t eaten at one of these chains in a few years and foolishly forgot how bad it was the last time. Their cheapest item is $8.50 for over grilled chicken and rice with a “salad” that is literally some iceberg lettuce and the equivalent of 1 small baby carrot. I made the mistake of buying their “fried rice” which I put in quotes as it isn’t fried at all. It’s got some charred grill bits and egg thrown in it. That’s it. It is pathetically bland and just tastes wrong.
Go to ANY other Teryaki/Bento joint, especially a one of a kind place or small chain and you will pay substantially less for significantly better food. I will never eat here or any other JoYaki spot again. If you actually like their bento based options, it’s clear you’ve never eaten anywhere else as this chain, no matter the location, serves the worst version of Teryaki / bento available.
The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars and not 1 is because the food was technically edible and I didn’t have to throw it away without unfortunately choking down most of it. S T A Y A W A Y!!

The food is good. We have given them so many chances, but lady is ALWAYS rude, she is always on her phone through an earbud, her face is never kind or welcoming, she doesn’t like any questions and said “look at the pictures.” The menu is vague, prices are very high. The place is clean enough to eat for dine in and you bus your own tables.

This little gem, not easily found on Google, to Google’s fault, is amazing location with a unique type of katsu I had not tried before, hand breaded there when ordered. WOW!! Great place to sit and eat without loads of traffic right in your face. I highly recommend! 🙂

Place was great! I got the jalapeno chicken dinner. It was actually a bit spicy after a few bites, which I enjoyed. Totally recommend and would go again. Be sure to try the spicy chicken teriyaki that my wife got too, awesome! Staff was pleasant and the service was quick. I know that have several other locations, so I am unaware of their quality, but I would guess is it is on par.

Clean place with nice staff. Really consistent & delicious. -BUT- some of the things they offer are no good. if it doesn’t have teriyaki in the name don’t order it. I don’t know how many times I have felt adventurous & walked away with a plate thats literally the farthest thing possible from what I expected.
