I absolutely love coming to this Iron Skillet. Ever since I’ve discovered this little gem, I have been stopping by every chance I get! This is NOT your typical Iron Skillet. They have meals that actually taste home cooked. And it is soooo delicious! The staff is absolutely the friendliest people you’ll ever come across. I highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself!

Skip the cornbread! Mystery meat was ok. Gravy was good. Customer service, there was none. She should not be around public.

My family and I stopped by the Dodge City, Al. location, very disappointing. We got there and had decided to have the buffet. There was very poor selection, not properly stocked. The food was cold and looked as if it had been there for a while. We won’t be going back! If I could give them a rate lower, I would. Way over priced for what we got!

The food was good for a travel stop/truck stop. Nice and clean. I just happened to get a waitress who’s family came in to eat. But they are all nice people. I still tipped her $5 because she has a small child and baby and every penny helps.

Chose buffet… Food cold only remnants as a choice. About Midway through my meal they replenished buffet. Too late for me to benefit from it. Dessert choices also minimal and remnants… Not appealing to me. Not a great experience. I was expecting much better as family had dined here last night and raved about how it has improved. Sorrowfully not for me tonight.

Food is usually pretty good, but prices for buffet are very expensive for breakfast meal. I believe when ppl pay $22+ for a couple for breakfast, locals won’t return. Maybe this is acceptable for a great breakfast buffet, but cheapest foods are what is offered. Bacon & sausages no ham, no cheese, vegetables, or fruits. This price was with a veteran/military discount, because we were told it was better than seniors discount. Drinks were coffees, & ordered nothing extra. Time was 7:30-8:00 a.m.

Permanently closed the Iron Skillet put in a sandwich bar. Screw you TA /Petro for taking away the places we can sit down and have a meal that is kinda like home and leaving us with Popcorn Popeye!! The worst food we can get served by a bunch of punks. We like to be waited on during out 34 hour breaks. Screw fast food. We like coffee that is pured into our cups in front of us. Someone who greets us with a smile. We like having relaxing conversations not standing in line. That’s our work week. Give us back our dine in restaurants

I stopped there on April 3rd, 2017 so my son and I could eat lunch before a long journey. We decided to order from the menu instead of having the buffet so we sat at a table and waited about 3 or 4 minutes before the waitress asked if we wanted a drink. We waited another 5 minutes to get them and then placed our order of steak fingers and a grilled cheese sandwich. We waited 30 minutes while watching our waitress pass by several times and never got our food. I am not exaggerating on the time because I checked. I got up to leave, told her why and that we had to get on the road so she told her manager what happened. This woman manager said sorry about the food but I still had to pay for our 2 drinks that were half full. I have never been to a restaurant with service that bad and will never stop there again. I suggest going to the Jack’s across the street.

I often drove passed several truck stops to get to Dodge City Iron Skillet. Today I was so disappointed to find the restaurant that I enjoyed & bragged about ruined.
1.styrofoam plates & cups
2.plastic utensils
3.no buffet anymore
4.no waitresses
5.far less food options
6.& to top it off at least a 30% price increase.
I will be looking for somewhere else to eat.
