Our 1st time here based off of reviews posted. We had chicken & shrimp fajitas & carne asada & eggs. My wife appreciated the amount of bell peppers in the fajitas. A lot of places scrimp on bell peppers.
Service was very good & friendly staff. The interior is a bit dated, but who cares really. You come for food & service.
Overall the food portions were good and reasonably priced. It was a bummer they ran out of chicken fried steak, oh well. This will be in our rotation from now on.

UPDATE* A MONTH LATER AND THIS PLACE IS STILL DELICIOUS! Delicious food, with a great atmosphere and service with a smile. I love this place for multiple reasons. My favorite place to Dine in. They really get to know all their customers. Today I went to eat there after 2 months of being away, and the owners daughter welcomed us Back, with a smile. And said, It’s been a while, we’re glad to see you again. The food is great, and the prices are reasonable. It’s a great atmosphere.

Pricing is cheap. Food is awesome! When you come here you’re gonna be full before you finish your food. They have generous portions and free refills on the Horchata! If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant that’s locally owned that won’t over charge you here is the place. This is a secret gem but it needs to be shared with the Hemet area. Also I the vibes are chill and they’re very diligent on asking if there’s anything else you need. There shouldn’t be another question except for “When are we going” trust me. You won’t regret coming here 🙂

9-2024 Same great family run spot, portion sizes have increased and there was rice pudding for the elderly crowd I was with that came with the means. The green chile verde burrito was pretty good and filling; the rice and beans paired nicely with the meal.

The spicy guac and salsa is a plus and upgrade from your standard salsa dip for the chips.
The food quality is good and authentic. The quality of the ingredients show through; the rice has a pilaf feel and not weighed down in oil; the beans are not soaked in lard which is a good thing. The protein in the meals is good quality and not fatty.
The added rice pudding at meal end was a nice change of pace and really attracts a mature clientele.
Staff is kind and welcoming, everyone seem like family members

I had two American-style crunchy tacos and a chicken quesadilla, and everything was absolutely delicious! The pricing was very fair, the hospitality was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hostess “Claudia”greeted us with a pleasant smile and seated immediately. It’s a great sit-down Mexican restaurant where you can relax and enjoy a quality meal. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
