Burger was great, service not so much. Young guy, maybe it was his first week waiting tables??? Worst service I’ve had in a while though. We waited over ten minutes for him to come back to our table after we had stacked our plates in the middle of the table and were obviously done eating. Then, we asked one of his coworkers if she could get us a bill. ♂️ I would still definitely recommend eating here. The rest of the staff looked very competent, and the food was great!!

Fantastic Food and Service at The Burger Bar in Yale!
My girlfriend and I, along with her brother, his wife, and her dad, met up at The Burger Bar in Yale, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience!
The food was excellent across the board. I had the **Mushroom Swiss Burger** and was immediately impressed—it was perfectly cooked. I also loved the **chili and cheese fries**, and the cup of **broccoli soup was excellent**. My father-in-law had the **Reuben**, and he raved that it was great. The food was so good, we even made sure to **thank the cook**!
Our **waitress was very kind and attentive** to our entire group, ensuring we had everything we needed. She was so surprised when she heard my father-in-law had just turned 73!
Overall, it was a great experience, and the food and service were top-notch. Honestly, we were shocked they weren’t jam-packed! We’ll definitely be returning.

Love this place! The hashbrowns were made just the way I like them; shredded and homemade! The server Piper, was fast and prompt, and the cooks make great omelets! Nice and clean restaurant.

I stopped here while rolling through town. I was amazed at the service and the food very polite. We had Jessica W as our waitress and she was very pleasant. Let us know that hot selling items and we went with the burger. I would definitely recommend the burgers here. It’s the best bar burger I’ve had.Also, you have to get the fries. They’re the best fries I’ve ever had.

A few friends and I met there for our book club discussion. We had a good time. My soup was hot and delicious. Restrooms were clean, and the service was great. Definitely would go back.

Food was average for like type restaurants, the tables are very tiny, it was nice we had a window sill to set some stuff on. The service was terrible as the waitresses were scarce after you got your drinks and ordered, we didn’t see her again until our food came and had to ask for refills as our drinks were empty. They do not attend their tables very well at all. We likely won’t be back, but they’re the only dog and pony show in town, so your choices are nill.
