This place is located inside The Foundry. We went there to make everyone in the group happy with the different options they offer. I chose Steve’s Meltdown. I got Buffalo Mac and cheese and then the grilled cheese with marinara and pepperoni on it. I added chicken to that per staff recommendation so it was like a chicken parm grilled cheese. That was the right call. This is just food court food though. I wouldn’t get it again if I was in the area just because of how many options are there. I watched the worker microwave the mac and cheese LMAO. Don’t expect any high quality anything.

The flavors were nice and creative. Our sandwiches were light on cheese and proteins. The garlic cheese curds tasted nice but several of them had no cheese. I’m guessing it cooked out in the frier and left only the breading shell. The crinkle fries were my favorite. Honestly, for 2 grilled cheese, 1 fry, 1 cheese curd and 2 bottles of soda for $52.00, I expected it to be better.

The boys at Steve’s are lots of fun and serious about their grilled cheese sandwiches. I had the Forever Young and it was phenomenal.
Bread was toasted to perfection and the cheeses were melted into a gooey delicious tasty mouth watering extravaganza!!

Do grilled cheeses here we’re by far the best grilled cheeses I’ve ever had my wife and I both got different sandwiches and they were incredible. I recommend definitely putting this on your list when visiting The Foundry.

My fiancee got the spicy one and loved it I got the forever young one which was very good and thick!! We also got the tomato soup which feels more like a sauce vs a soup the consistency is also thick or chunky ish so we wasn’t as big of a fan of that the workers were do nice and patient with us!

Was just passing through St. Louis and saw a review for this place. Hands down the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. Worth the stop and love the food court vibe it is in! I got the blackberry pesto sandwich and I will be thinking about it often. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

The Adult grilled cheese was delicious! Staff was friendly and attentive. Announced our order when it was done, which was sooner than we expected! Fresh and hot. Will definitely visit again!! Their marinara is also delicious!!!!

I ordered the “War Figs,” and I was pleasantly surprised. I figured it would be good (bacon, marscapone, fig jam….hard to mess that combo up.) I ended up being really impressed with it The sandwich was served quick and the ingredients were all obviously fresh. The prices weren’t bad, definitely in line with most local sandwiches. If you are in The Foundry it’s a solid choice with good portion sizes.

Absolutely deceptive menu. They sell a $10 “bowl” of Mac and cheese that is less than a cup of food. It’s insane. At least give us a bowl of Mac and cheese and then throw the same amount of toppings. Noodles are so cheap!!! Do not go here for dinner. Just be clear with the menu you sell a Mac and cheese cup for $10 not a bowl. It isn’t good either. I was not impressed and had to go someone else in the foundry to get a proper meal.
*edit* the large size is only $8.50 but there’s tax. They call it a “large bowl”, but again see the picture this is not large and not a bowl. Also didn’t try a sandwich because I thought the mac and cheese would be a bowl as in a dinner size, not a side.
