I have been having dinner at Tara Thai at least once a week and have continued to bring new friends to the restaurant to introduce them to the best Thai food in Albuquerque. The service is always outstanding and the food is fresh, tasty and healthy! The setting is nice and clean. And the prices are reasonable! The staff is outstanding. I highly highly recommend this place! Love their wok specials as they are made to your specifications. I only wish I had discovered this place long ago!

I just came back from trying this restaurant. I have to say, I was impressed by the decor and vibe of the inside from the get go. It is very modern looking with an artsy twist. The entire front of house is clean and relaxing.
I ordered the Pad Thai with medium spice. the presentation was neat and it tasted very delicious. I liked the fried tofu, fresh cilantro and crushed peanuts that were on this dish. The jasmine tea was a little underwhelming, and served in a regular sized mug. Decent taste, but they didn’t have any honey to have with it, which was fine, i just used sugar instead.
The wait staff was a nice, young gentleman. He was courteous, professional, and was not pushy or overbearing.
Overall, I felt I had a nice time eating at Tara Thai Cuisine. The pricing was average, so to speak, for this type of cuisine. It may appear high, but the food is worth the price. I am a fan of Pad Thai and I will be back to enjoy more, and hopefully experiment with the various dishes here.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Very friendly wait staff. The owner even came out and visited with us. The prices were a bit on the high side but, hey, you get what you pay for. I’ve only been there once but will go back for sure!

Exceptionally good food. Rates with some of the best Pad Thai and Tom Ka Gai that I have had in the country. Large portions, reasonably priced. (I had to take all of my soup home, and half my dinner). Service was attentive and pleasant. Food arrived in a timely manner. Nice atmosphere. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO TARA THAI!!!!

Excellent food! I’ve eaten here 4 times and order different dishes each time and I’ve yet to find anything I dislike. Small restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere makes for a good date.

This thai food is excellent..at least what i ordered…the yellow chicken curry is amazing…its pricy compared to Los Angeles, but to be in ABQ NM its a shock how good it is…its as good as any Thai i had in LA…my fav place in LA is Pink Pepper in Hollywood.
