This food was one of the most flavorless meals I have ever had. Korean bbq should taste like Korean bbq, this had no taste whatsoever. I only ate it because I paid $25 dollars for it and didn’t want to throw my money away. It was flavorless, bland food. The kimchi had no flavor at all, and when I mean at all, I mean at all. The mac salad was icky and like eating mayonnaise straight out of the jar. Even putting hot sauce on my so called “Spicy bbq chicken,” it still had no flavor!!!!

Food is super fresh and authentic. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the prices… A little steep, but make no mistake you won’t disappointed with the quality and portions (very generous). The cold side options are all very fresh and tasty.

I ordered a BBQ Chicken plate. It included 2 scoop rice and 4 veggie choices. When I got my plate it looked like a lot of chicken,but not much veggies. However my rating is based on the chicken. It tasted off and was 25% burnt, I spit out the black burnt pieces but the chicken tasted funny. I don’t think I will come back here, total for the plate was $19.36 and sadly, I didn’t enjoy it.

Went to Pearls in Ewa Beach and purchased a mini kal bi and BBQ chicken plate with all rice. It was very disappointing. I paid just a little under $19.00. I got three scoops of rice, one piece of chicken, and one piece of kal bi. And their service was quite disappointing as well, not very friendly at all. The food is okay, but not worth the negative attitudes and skimpy servings.

Absolutely horrible experience. Called to place and order and the lady was very rude. Then I called around 820 to place another order and the phone just rang and rang. Called for almost half an hour and was so upset I drove there. Got there around 850 and they told me they are closed and stopped taking orders at 830. The door says 9pm so I don’t understand. Very disappointed. Loved pearls until this experience. Won’t be attending this location anymore. Also need to fix their policy and information. If you close at 830, why does it say 9pm????

It’s a busy Friday night & no one answers the phone. Not good, especially when trying to order a party platter. I totally understand that they’re busy. When I places my oder at the counter, the girl who took the order was like, you should’ve called this order in. My reply, I tried but no answer. She said, ya we’re just too busy. Not good.

January 2021…My first time ordering at Pearls and was so disappointed. I was the only person entering, no lines at all. Place was very clean. 2 women behind the counter speaking Filipino and one of the two was on her cellphone. I ordered, they gave a generous amount of side order. I waited about 10 minutes. When I carried my order to my car I noticed it wasn’t warm like hot food would be. I opened it and the rice was cold hard, my chicken was room temperature and dry and my second choice was wrong! None of my food was even warm and did not look freshly made at all. I’ll never order there again. In addition, the price I paid was over $15. It’s so upsetting I lost my appetite. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.
