Decided to try this spot as I was working in the area. The service and atmosphere were friendly, but the food tasted like yesterday’s batch. Had 3 tacos.. asada, barbacoa, and chicken, couldn’t eat either one.

I chose to eat here with the Familia since we were working in the area and didn’t want to eat at a typical fast food chain. Food is authentic Mexican and is made to order. I had the torta with fajita, and it was okay. They cook the Fajitas with chopped onions and are served that way. If you don’t like onions, then no Fajitas, I don’t like onions, but I ate it anyway since I was famished. Anyways, there was very little fajita in my torta, which is a bummer since it’s about $10 for just bread with lettuce and tomatoes. My Familia had sopes, and it was mixed feelings. Veggies are fresh, but the sopes are deep fried or drenched in too much oil. Wide selection of beverages, including Agua frescas. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn’t say I’d eat here again. It was a “Don’t knock it til you try it” deal.

This place five stars because it is run by two women who know how to cook traditional Mexican food. One of my friends jacinto took me there as a treat telling me that I would love it. We drove 30 miles through Dallas to eat at this little hole in the wall. And he was right it was the best Mexican food I have ever had if you want great Mexican food you got to go here !!!!! I will be back to eat caldo de rez
