We stumbled across this place in the middle of the pride march by accident , the service was exceptional, the bar server was lovely and welcoming and fetched us wine from next door , warm but still needed.
Not our normal place of call for old uns but hey ….

The Tap Room in Memphis exceeded all our expectations! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, but the real highlight of our visit was Dana. She was absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to have an amazing time. Her service was top-notch, and she truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.
We’ll definitely be back—especially to see Dana again!

Bartender was great. The drink was fun, but far too much sugar for me. No regrets, though. My friend finished mine too. We walked the strip and then came back for bathroom. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves watching the cover band for quite a while. Friendly bar

We stopped in here on a Wednesday night in Memphis. The band that was playing that night (The Bluff City Groove Band) caught our ear. We were able to sit right in front of the band & had a great time sipping on our beers and grooving with them. The bar itself was pretty run of the mill, decent selection of craft beers (though a couple of them ran out pretty early), but able to be so up close to such great live music for free made this a five star experience

The music was good. I came in and ordered a bottled beer listed as $7. Bartender opened up the bottle and said $12. I said what? She turned and pointed to this small sign that said $5 cover charge. I drank my beer and left. Total turn off. I was at the Tin Roof down the street and beers were $7 and the music was better. Also the burger was great. Should have stayed there

Great music, ambiance, great servers. Had a good time until the music was over at 6pm. Perhaps there is another band later.

A small and intimate bar with a decent selection of beers, pool table, live music and, at least when I was there, a friendly bartender.

A classic dive bar in the heart of Beale Street. Good selection of local beers, standard trade beers and as unpretentious as you can get. This place is a bit pricey though.
