It saddens me that this has such a low review.. We’ve been going here for years now, and the lady who owns it (I’m assuming) is SO nice. Every time I go there she calls me by name (even if my name isnt the one on the order), asks how my grandma is doing, etc. And since I haven’t been able to pick up the order in a while, apparently she always asks my grandma how IM doing. That might sound insignificant, but how many places do you go to that go out of their way to do that? Plus the food has always been fantastic. Also most of the negative reviews on here make me judge the reviewer more than the place. Most arent even literate.

Ordered a scheduled delivery on their website. The order was through a third party site (Uber). The driver went straight to the delivery address without picking up the order. Called and spoke to the restaurant as well as an Uber representative and they still couldn’t figure it out. The restaurant did offer free crab Rangoon’s if I came and picked it up. As I could not drive, this was not possible. So, three hours later, no food and the refund is yet to come. My advice, don’t order from here. Can’t comment on the food as it actually never was received.

Foods not good to me. ordered delivery big mistake my order was incorrect and I was told that my was correct smh . I know what I ordered . Delivery guy will only call when the arrive to your if you don’t answer he will leave which is crazy because why not knock before you leave.

Ordered online. Also I almost never complain. But I’ve eaten plant based meat that was better quality meat than this. Order Szechuan beef or anything beef and you will be just as concerned. I guess it’s beef that was boiled in tiny strips??? So gross I’m broke and gonna have to throw it away. Also this would’ve deserved its own review n it’s own, the general tso chicken was a soggy clump of breading w a syrup up to the rim. Start pulling it apart and it’s almost all breading. At least you can tell it’s real chicken. The crab Rangoon were those soft sacks of cream cheese and the spring rolls were fried even though I thought I ordered fresh. This place doesn’t hold a candle to the old crest wood mall food court Chinese foods i bought were trash.

The food was pretty good,I went here cause I was very hungry,I was taking me a lunch break but didn’t want to much, it was made fresh to order, The owner was very nice and pleasant, my food was how I like it, hot, onions with the egg was made right and the rice was lightly flavorable..rice was not sticky or hard, my egg was fluffy in the rice and my wings were ok, just wasn’t much seasoning on them but they were cooked to the bone not raw or bloody tasting..I will be back, this hit the spot..Thanks China Garden I’ll be back…

Visited on the Christmas Day to eat something good Chinese food but it was totally unexpected food which got ready in just 5 minutes and the lady was very rude and she asked us whether we had Chinese food before or not which sound really rude.

Ordered DoorDash delivery with high hopes….The portion of beef you get is tiny. Egg drop soup has oil in it like vegetable oil… the only Chinese place which puts oil in the soup, like why? For what reason ? Very disappointing, won’t be ordering again.

Affton neighborhood restaurant has been around for years, so they must be doing something right. The restaurant is currently NOT dine in since Covid. They are takeout only. The old seating area is used for storage and looks like…well, messy. But you’re there for the food, right? Enjoy.
