Well, what can I say? My husband was born and raised in New Jersey, and his one complaint coming down here in the south was that he could not find a legitimate New Jersey New York style pizza. We ordered a pizza sausage and he said it just brought a tear to his eye and a lot of memories. We went to Savannah screaming Mimi’s and he said it was nothing like New York style pizza or New Jersey style pizza. He was very disappointed, but this was definitely worth the 30 minute drive. It was actually so good. We brought our friends there as well. The whole area is lovely looking dog friendly. It’s got a deck spacious eating areas. It’s got a stage for live entertainment, and cornhole. Definitely a place to come if you have a large crowd with you.

We came from Athens Ga, I know I know, why would we be looking for a good pizza place when we are obviously in the heart off seafood country. But, we’ve eaten at some of the best pizza places all over the country. The best so far is a known place In New Jersey. So we were here on Tybee for 7 nights, I had a retirement briefing I had to go to for the military so we decided to make a vaca out of it. I have to say, this place was great, the food was way better than any pizza joint around Athens (including Athens favorite peppinos or fully loaded). A very simple menu and we went twice in a week and tried multiple pizzas and got the garlic knot every time because they were honestly the best. We got the meat pizza and the veggie pizza the first time and the Caesar salad and the supreme pizza the second time, neither disappointed even though I’m not a fan of supreme I still gave it a shot and ate it with everything on it, it’s all fresh, sliced thin, and has a ton of flavor. The live music was great, no one famous of course, but it added a nice touch, I brought my dog (a pitbull) which was welcome by a handful of locals so I didn’t have that awkward feeling you normally have by bringing a “vicious” pit around, they had dog bowls available to give your pet water. Plenty of outside seating, just a great atmosphere. Good choice of beer, mix drinks, and other adult beverages. Staff was great, although there was some confusion on military discounts the second time I went, which is fine, I’d rather support local businesses with out a discount and wouldn’t leave a bad review because of it. Overall, definitely worth it, honestly beats the “seafood restaurants” like “Fannie’s or Pier 16” if your looking for a good place to chill and eat some good food.

This place has brought back the lost art of “Classic Pizza”. Being from the Philadelphia/New York area, I realize I may be too judgmental when it comes to a quality pizza. They master all of the most important points:

Thin, and yet not burnt…that’s talent!
Quality sauce, it’s either good or it’s not. Nailed it!
The staff is beyond friendly….more like family. The family members that you can’t wait to see! Make it a point to come here. Great atmosphere on top of everything else. Enjoy!

Fresh and delicious pizza and sandwiches a block from the beach. Fantastic atmosphere and fun for all ages. BBQ chicken pizza was delicious. Italian sandwich was scrumptious! Very fresh ingredients and the softest bread. Garlic knots are highly recommended. Good beers selection and a chill place to hang before or after a day at the beach!!

They’ve taken pizza to another level. The flavor, the quality, the consistency—everything was impressive. And the sandwiches? Absolutely outstanding.
If you’re anywhere near the Savannah area, this is the spot to visit on Tybee Island. It’s a solid 10 out of 10—great food, relaxed atmosphere, and the perfect outdoor space to unwind. Music and ambience…exceptional.

Highly recommend this place! We were a little worried when we heard they’d only been open for 4 days, but we saw no evidence of kinks that needed to be worked out! All the food was delicious. The pizza was great, but the garlic knots were amazing. They were light and garlic-y and had fresh parmesan on them. The hummus was also clearly homemade and really good. We really enjoyed everything and my only complaint is that the tables in the dining area on the back are at an angle, but it wasn’t bad enough to be a problem.

First time trying pizza from Farace’s Finest Pizza and we are a fan! Our pizza torn when they took it out so while making us a new one they gave us garlic knots on the house. They were amazing! We also has a Caeser salad which was very fresh. The pizza is the best on Tybee in our opinion. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni which did not disappoint! We used to go to Lighthouse Pizza for many years until they changed hands and gave us a tasteless pizza and parmasan cheese which was moldy! We have found our new go to pizza when we visit Tybee!❤️❤️

Went for a motorcycle ride and stopped by for a snack. The garlic knots are legendary, and will be coming back for more. I also ordered the Caesar salad with a side of chicken, and it was phenomenal.

Family of pizza lovers here…Farace’s definitely hit the spot. Have been there twice within the past couple weeks as we found it worth the hour drive for some fresh NY style pizza. We have had the BBQ Chicken (twice), jalapeño pepperoni with hot honey, and mushroom pizza’s- each to everyone’s liking. The crust had the perfect crunch and chew. Also had their homemade ranch that paired really well with the BBQ pizza. The outdoor seating area is cute- there is a bags game set up and a stage area for events. Excited to return over the summer as it warms up a bit.
