With a Pepsi and Diet Pepsi.
The sandwich was ok, it comes with bacon, lettuce, tomato and I think mayo?
It is spicy. I couldn’t taste much past spice. So it was tolerable.
The fries taste like season all and chicken seasoning.
Diet Pepsi was awful. I know for all you regular Pepsi people are thinking “duh, that’s nasty”. But for a person that regularly drinks diet soda when we eat out, it was an awful mix.
The biscuit is “okay” slightly above average according to my husband.
Chicken strips are ok.
Bo sauce is like a honey mustard concoction.
House ranch dressing is terrible.
As for the service at the location. The employees were nice. It did take a few minutes to get us our order. We had to park even though we went through the drive thru and only had 2 combo meals.
Would I go back? I dunno… maybe
It just doesn’t stand out above the rest
It was just meh. I guess I’d eat it again if I was really hungry. Certainly not better than Popeyes
Except the customer service. Get better ppl, im not saying get someone that will be smiling all the time but a person who will at least greet us and not be looking mad all the time.
On the plus side, the tenders are quite good and come nicely seasoned. They also have a slight spice to them which I’m sure many Texans can appreciate.
Today I had the Bo-rito and while it was overall ok, they really missed the mark on the tortilla. Fresh homemade tortillas can be found on every other block here in Houston with major influence from the Mexican community. So the fact these tortillas are so bad is really sacrilegious. At least contract the tortillas from a local business. Hell even HEB tortillas would do.
That was my first time there, ….very disappointed.
