I went to this food truck just now for the first and last time. My mother recently passed and today I had to clean out her classroom (she was a teacher). I stopped by Lou’s Hot Dog Truck to get hot dogs for my husband and I. The owner was extremely rude to me when I asked for additional mustard on my hot dog. He made very sly and firm comments like “obviously you were not paying attention because I already put enough on there and trust me there is enough!” I was very kind to him and as a paying customer this will be my last time going to him. He could have been pleasant to me but chose to be an arrogant and rude person instead. Now that I know how he treats his customers, I will never return. Not going to pull the race card but I have to wonder why he would be so rude and dismissive to someone who is a kind, paying customer. I was so caught up in my emotions that I did not think to walk away after I heard his first remark. I will not ever return and I hope he thinks twice the next time he opens his mouth to speak to others because his negative energy is the last thing that people need. Go elsewhere for your hotdogs because these are average and not worth the disrespect you may receive from him!
