Wow what a great meal! We tried a different Haitian restaurant last week and had a lot of trouble communicating and getting the right food (and the food was just ok once we did get it). So we thought we would give this place a try. The people were so friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and they even let us try a lovely beet dish that I didn’t see on the menu. I had the fried red snapper with black rice and enjoyed it very much. Even the fried plantains, which typically taste like glue to me, were absolutely delicious. I think the thing that made it extra special was just how nice the proprietors were. Fabulous place!

The food was delicious. I got the fried chicken and black rice. Everything was was so flavorful. My husband got the goat and black rice dish. It was good but the meat was a little chewy.

We showed up at 5:30. The restaurant was full of people, but still pretty clean. The chef and person serving were very kind and spoke English pretty well. The place looks like a small family owned restaurant with a comfy feel. The table settings were nice and a good touch of color.
By this point in the day, they ran out of the Saturday special. I ordered the fried goat, and my wife ordered the fried chicken. The food did take some time to get to us, but once it did, it was hot. The goat was well seasoned and delicious, the black rice was savory, and the fried plantains were hot and delicious. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside with moist meat and was very good.
My wife and I agreed it would be well worth it to drive from Columbus where we live to here regularly to have this delicious food!

Absolutely fantastic Haitian food. I had the whole snapper, which was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and tender inside—and the plantains were truly sublime. My husband ordered the fried goat with rice and a small bowl of bouillon tet kabrit, and it was so good he literally drank the last drop from the bowl. The service was very friendly, and the food was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend Keket Bongou!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here today! I had the fried shrimp (some of the best I’ve had in my entire life) and plantains. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken and plantains. The owner gave us some of her grits she makes daily, for free….SO GOOD! Only 5 minutes off of Interstate 70. Go check it out!

Good food and generous portions. I got the BBQ chicken and plantains. Everything was very filling, we left with a lot of leftovers. I especially loved the spicy coleslaw. Everyone inside was friendly and I really enjoyed eating there.
