The restaurant is very clean, laid out very nicely with colorful areas with different types of seating (couches and tables). There is a full bar in the front that I would definitely like to try next time as they have many signature drinks on the menu that sounded delicious (Tito’s and lychee, yum!).
We were seated by a very friendly server and hostess, and the owner also materialized instantly asking what we would like to drink. The buffet had about 12 different serving platters. The first 2 were appetizers and the last one was a dessert, leaving about 9-10 of them as main dishes.
We started out with a fresh salad (4 different choices of dressings/toppings ranging from a cucumber type dressing to a plum taste, all delicious – I put a little of each on each side of salad to try) and an absolutely delicious hot & sour soup (we ended up purchasing some to go it was so good).
I do not remember all the names of all of the dishes, but will include my favorites in the pics. My husband had a lot of questions for the owner and our server and they were really helpful and knowledgeable about the origins of dishes, spices and their favorites as well. The owner shared that for the buffet they tone down the hot spicy levels a bit (definitely not the flavor though wow!! So good) so people can get a feeling for the foods and feel confident trying them. He also shared that every weekend the lineup of food changes.
My husband’s favorite was the steamed rice with pineapple lamb. He had 3 helpings. I really enjoyed the butter nan bread with slow cooked black lentils, butter chicken and one dish I forgot the name, but it had cottage cheese and tofu in a VERY flavorful sauce.
My 2 favorites names are listed below in the pictures. I also really enjoyed the spring rolls and dessert ‘dumpling’, which was like a very sweet honey ball, almost like a pancake ball about the size of a golf ball.
We are very excited to go back and try again, not just the buffet, but for a standard dinner or to try their appetizers and cocktails. There was also an extensive beer list. It was not too busy, but there was a steady stream of other customers throughout our time. Some staying longer than others, but all very happy and satisfied with the selection and service as I could see. Some eating solo and some families.
I highly recommend trying the buffet if you are curious about Indian food, there is something for everyone and you will not be disappointed.
The restaurant itself is beautiful. The wine list and cocktail choices are varried and there is something for everyone! So glad to have dined here. We will be back!
Can’t believe I haven’t already reviewed.
Tonight we’re having their take out. We love eating there as well, service with smile, no long waits. Just an awesome experience all around.
Yay.
