I’m glad there’s a Vietnamese place on the island. The tofu banh mi was average. It had a good amount of cilantro and pickles. The seasoning of the tofu has very heavy on that “maggi” taste. Overall it was a decent, but bare bones banh mi. The veggie pho was a bit bland.

For a small locally-owned pho place in a town like this, it was good. Nice soup noodle option for anybody who lives nearby. Personally I hoped the broth was just little bit less sweeter though.

I love this place. Affordable, delicious teriyaki with excellent portion sizes. I love getting my lunch or dinner here whenever I don’t feel like cooking. So good! Thank you for your excellent food and timely service.

The service and the food was excellent. I enjoyed the thicker homemade fresh pho noodles. They also give you the choice if you prefer the regular thinner noodles. The only thing I didn’t like was that they give you a lemon wedge instead of lime to squeeze into your broth.

Island Pho – Mercer Island’s Hidden Gem for Comforting Pho

If you’re craving a warm, flavorful bowl of pho, Island Pho on Mercer Island is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The star of the show is, without a doubt, the pho. The broth is rich, aromatic, and clearly simmered with care—deep layers of flavor that hit all the right notes. Whether you go for the classic beef combo or the tender brisket, each bowl is packed with generous portions of meat, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. The balance is just right—nothing overpowers, and everything comes together beautifully.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are more than satisfying. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back the next day for another bowl. For pho lovers, Island Pho is a comforting, delicious standout on the island.

Very tasty Pho and fried rice here! The fried rice could have looked better with some garnishing but I don’t really mind, as long as the food taste good. Very friendly service as well! Their menu have a variety of option for you too choose. Definitely coming back here to try other dishes.

One of the best Pho places in the Seattle area. We had the combination Pho, the short rib Pho, and the grilled pork chop & shrimp over vermicelli to go. All were delicious. Flavorable broth, tasty meats & seafood, and plentiful.

Honestly the flavor and beef was fine but I am so disappointed they don’t use traditional pho noodles. They use large rice noodles which left every bite with a mushy chewy texture.. hopefully consider using standard pho noodles

My husband and I stopped here on our way out of Seattle and enjoyed a potsticker appetizer along with a lemongrass beef vermicelli and Beef Yakisoba. Both tasted so fresh and flavorful. Originally we looked at our meals and thought… “we are going to need to-go boxes”…. But ended up eating it all! The staff was friendly and the space was nice and clean. If I lived in the area I would eat here ALL the time!

It’s a quiet little pho shop with decent, sweet broth. That said, good clear pho broth is a rarity around Seattle, so a bonus star for getting it right.

There’s not much to say about this place. The decor is minimal and functional, much like the solid food. Service is a little slow, but there weren’t that many customers. The pace of the restaurant is slow and relaxed, though the food comes out at a decent clip.

I might swing by again the next time I’m trapped on Mercer Island, but I wouldn’t drive out of the way to eat here.
