This morning I woke up with a very specific craving: an almond croissant like the ones I fell in love with in Savannah, GA — rich, soft, with that dreamy amaretto-style filling. So naturally, I went on a mission.
I found a small French bakery café tucked into a strip mall in Duluth, and let me tell you… it delivered. The café itself is small, clean, and charming — simple, but clearly focused on the food.
Here’s what I ordered
Almond Croissant – Absolute favorite. Soft, buttery, filled with a creamy almond custard, topped with powdered sugar, sliced almonds, and a chocolate drizzle. Every bite was perfection.
Pistachio Croissant – Flaky, nutty, and slightly savory. A great balance and beautifully done.
#10 Provence Chicken Pesto Sandwich – Grilled chicken on a baguette with pesto, avocado, and provolone. Warm, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
Everything was delicious, and the presentation was just as beautiful as the taste. This spot is definitely worth a visit if you love French pastries or a good sandwich done right.

Very affordable for the area and for the quality of roast you get. The latte is the star of the show.

My coffee and almond pastry was so delicious I returned the next day to have it again— consistent!
The cortado was reallllly good (strong ❤️) and I ate the pastry after 6-7hours and it still melted in my mouth with goodness.
If I lived in the area, I would come here every day for coffee, breakfast and a sweet treat.

Ooh la la! The best authentic French food in town( sorry “La Madeleine”) I have tried several French restaurants near my area after my visit to Paris to replicate the same experience I had with French food and I found this small family business called Ga French Bakery.
The onion soup is exquisite ! Its food actually tastes like the food I ate in France. Baguettes are delicious and crispy, pastries are to die for. Don’t judge the book by its cover, this is actually a French hidden gem where you can taste real French food without having to travel abroad.

A true hidden gem . I use to live in the area and come often but we moved and I haven’t been in a few years but recently I was in the area and stopped in and wow this place is just as good clean consistent and professional as always! Top quality is all you get and I love it and can’t get enough . We love Georgia French Bakery!

This place is definitely a great spot if you want to relax and enjoy some pastries. It’s tiny and cozy, which I personally enjoyed. I got myself a chicken crepe for brunch and oh my goodness! It was so so soft and flavorful at the same time, exactly what I was craving. I also had a croissant which was wonderful! Crisp and crunch on the outer layer but soft and fluffy on the inside.
I highly recommend coming here on your downtime to give them a try!

The sandwiches are straight out of Paris in how they prepare them and how they taste! Always fresh in-house baked breads, and the meats are delicious. My favorite sandwich is the Tuscany, which always takes me back to the pastry and sandwich shops in France and Spain. Their fresh-baked pastries are amazing and so are their coffee and drink options. I only gave 4 stars on Atmosphere because the space is really tight, but it’s worth to stick around to grab a seat as they become available, or just take the sandwiches to go and eat them in the car. Double thumbs up!

The matcha tea, hot, was delicioussss.
Lastly, chocolate crossaint. Ugh, simply great.
I think they can try to do something different with the seating arrangements inside given the tiny room they have to work with.
The gentleman was so kind and cheerful. He brought out my matcha to me which was kind of him.
