I don’t usually leave Google reviews for food spots, but my wife and I had such a great experience at Forest Avenue Grill that I had to. We stopped in for lunch after not being here in a while and were honestly blown away by the quality, freshness, and flavor of everything.
My wife had the broccoli cheddar soup and loved it. I had the lobster corn chowder and it was absolutely amazing. We also split a panini and it was the perfect little lunch stop.
The soups came with a choice of bread or crackers, plus a really delicious muffin on the side she went with the corn muffin and I had the blueberry, both were awesome.
Overall just a great experience and we’ll definitely be back very soon!

During my recent visit to Forest Ave Grill, I found the establishment to be one of the most impeccably maintained delis I have audited. Cleanliness standards are consistently upheld throughout the premises, from the dining area to the self-service coffee station. The tables were spotless and neatly arranged, and the use of QR codes at each table for digital menu access and ordering reflects a thoughtful integration of convenience and modern customer service.
Staff members demonstrated exceptional professionalism and courtesy, contributing to an atmosphere that is both welcoming and service-oriented. The environment evokes a sense of comfort typically associated with upscale dining, which is notably impressive for a deli operation.
Overall, Forest Ave Grill delivers an outstanding customer experience, marked by cleanliness, attentiveness, and innovation. It stands out as a model of excellence in its category and sets a high benchmark for comparable establishments.

I finally made it here. Literally a hidden gem, restaurant cannot be seen from the road. Gluten Free upon request, Paleo Diet, Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Carnivore. Forest Ave Grill, Chef Alberto and his partner, Elvin, wants to please everyone’s palate. Food is delicious. Visually, the restaurant looks like a Cafe. Great place to meet up with friends or dine solo. Very relaxed setting. Seating inside and outside. Menu selections are fresh, made to order. No worries, entrees are served within a reasonable time. Complimentary choice of crackers, bread or mini blueberry or corn muffin served with soup choice. Muffin is fresh but not homemade. I’d take a pass on the Blueberry, it tasted and inside looked like artificial flavoring. Corn muffin was just ok. Excellent, variety of soup choices, I was torn between Split Pea, Lobster Corn Chowder, Turkey Chili and Potatoe Leek. Happily, the young lady, accommodated my palate, by providing samples, nice touch. I enjoyed all samples. My choice, Lobster Corn Chowder, it had the flavor. But, no lobster, a little disappointing. But, delicious just the same. Except two, All American Cheeseburger and Lemon Chicken soup. The All American, can’t describe the flavor. But, it was not a nice experience. Lemon Chicken, made with Orzo. So, my hopes were high. Lots of chicken throughout. But, it was oily, no flavor. All other soups were so good I would order one as a main course. It’s clear, Forest Ave Grill, delivers on style, taste, presentation. Staff friendliness is genuine and seems to be initiated by the customer. Staff will provide a welcoming atmosphere by going out of there way with smiles, small talk, and personal service. Not interested in that. No problem, they remain professtional and respect your personal space. Specials are offered daily. But, change weekly. Children’s ten choice menu, is available for $5.99, more than the standard options of burgers, fries, chicken, is offered. My friend ordered Sante Fe Salad. I loved the presentation. She liked the way each ingredient maintained it’s own flavor. Blending well with the other ingredients. Seems to bring out the best of everything. I ordered the spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap without blue cheese dressing. I don’t care for mayo. So, I was trying to avoid that over powering flavor. Unfortunately, the dish arrived with dressing. I didn’t see it. The wrap was filled to the brim with chicken. Despite the generous amount of chicken, my first bite was overpowered by the mayo flavor of the dressing. Surprisingly, after my initial bite, all the flavors came together, it was delicious. The wrap is rather large. So, I was only able to eat a half. This is when I realized the error. I ordered a half a wrap and small bowl of soup. I actually received a full wrap and a large bowl of soup. No harm done, because I loved it all. I don’t like to bring home left overs. But, this time I did, with a smile.

If you like Panera you’ll love this place. You can order half soup and half wrap, salad, or panini. I had the broccoli cheddar cheddar and the forest ave wrap and it was great.

Elvin is amazing, best bacon egg and cheese in town by far. Elvin also let me try a few of the smoothies they offer and they were also incredible. I highly recommend this place.

I was greeted well by the server at the register and she helped me pick a sandwich, chips and drink meal. Prompt, kind, friendly and attentive to whatever questions I had, my experience throughout was good. There was no room for complaints. The sandwich was good not out of this world but I didn’t expect to be blown away either. Sometimes you want a simple sandwich, chips and a drink to wash it all down and I think anyone looking for something simple and fresh will enjoy coming here.

Food is good. I like the various soup options! And I like the soup and sandwich combo. The wait time is very long though. Whether you call and order it, wait 20 minutes and then head there or order in person, you will wait 20 minutes. Also prices are little higher for what you get. Decent spot though!
