When looking for a place to grab a bite at Solitude, I figured I’d head into the village to get away from lodge food a little (not a knock against lodge food, but you know).
Anyways, I ordered the 10 inch Mountain Margherita. It was a delight. The crust had a good chew, the toppings were fresh and the cheese had a nice pull. If you find yourself skiing at solitude, it’s worth the walk (or ski) over snow bridge to grab a pie.
Oh yeah, they serve beer too.

Best bang for your buck at solitude. We got a large Hawaiian bbq pizza for about $25 to share between three of us adults and it was perfect and really good. It was really cheesy and the flavor was awesome. It’s right by the clock tower in the village, so easily accessible from the bottom lift.

The pizza we ordered was really yummy! They cooked it fresh for us and everything about it was yummy. It was a bit dry but that wasn’t a big deal. Prices are quite steep but being in the location it is, I’m not surprised. It’s a really cute place with friendly employees.

Great customer service. Understaffed but they are so happy to serve you! Great pizza and garlic bread.
Update: Came back for an afternoon snack today(we didn’t eat lunch because we were on the slopes the WHOLE day). My sister and I split a hot sandwich, the roast beef sandwich to be exact. It was great. Small for 2 people but really tasty. Came with chips. Once again, the customer service was spectacular. Though their menu options are limited, all the food they serve and offer to serve you is great tasting and high quality. I wish they had pasta! I could only imagine how good it would be. Anyways, recommend this if your staying at the Inn or anywhere in the Solitude village.

Delicious pizza! Located smack dab in the middle of the Village, we walked to dinner, had the place to ourselves, (and we acted like it! Haha) the service was over the top good, the pizza…unbelievably flavorful, the crust…crispy and light, and their salads, (Mediterranean), were delicious and a very large portion! Pizza was perfect for a low key evening after skiing. Plan to bring it back home or eat outside on a nice day, the seating inside is pretty bare. Our pizzas were perfect and hit the spot while the kids watched a movie in the condo!

Stopped for lunch here around 1pm on a Wed. It wasn’t busy and my group of 4 got a table easily. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you when it’s ready. The service was great and the paninis we ordered were good and hearty, larger than we expected!

Fantastic pizza at an amazing price for a ski resort! $19 for a large 16” cheese/$25 specialty pizza + a discount for Ikon pass holders. Meanwhile, the Last Chance eatery near the Apex lift is $18 for ONE burger, and at the Alpine Rose over at Brighton a whole pizza is $39!

I’ll begin by saying I own a restaurant and am a chef so I get small mistakes but this meal was a disaster. None of the orders were correct and we spent over 120 dollars on several different items. The salads were all wrong. Not one had dressing. The dietary needs were not accommodated. The pepperoni pizza was raw with the dough uncooked, the piacerno pizza or whatever it was called was completely missing onion, arugula and balsamic, more than half the toppings. I left 40 on 100 because I care about my industry but this experience kinda sucked. Now we’re hungry after a day of skiing and the only place open is, stone haus. Ughhhhhhh…..

Also, they were decidedly over staffed hence the tip so this is as much for the managers and owners as the employees. Hopefully the operators get their act together.
