Incredibly delicious, well priced and the service is amazing. You can feel the Family atmosphere from the moment you walk in this place and throughout the whole visit. This was my first time here, but it won’t be the last. Great Job guys!

You get the sense as soon as you walk in this is a real community spot. People are speaking Portuguese, hanging out and watching footy. Doesnt get much better, vibes-wise
Helps that the food is unreal. Bread to the table non stop. Garlic shrimp that bring a tear to my eye theyre so perfect. The half chicken and potatoes oozes class. Really really good stuff.
You dream of being a regular at a place like this. Would go every day if I could.

Really wasn’t impressed. Took about 30 minutes to get our food. We had to take it to go as we had to get somewhere. That wasn’t a huge deal. We were going to get the calamari which looked great. The server suggested that wasn’t a good dish and we should get the bass instead. I got the BBQ sandwich. Sandwich was ok, bass was really not good. Tasted old and the whole dish just was not appetizing. Won’t be back.

First time at O Cantinho Churrasqueira….absolutely delicious! Very busy at 12:30 on a Wednesday. A bit loud but what do you expect with all men as customers having lunch and coffee, haha! Started with bread and olives at the table to nibble on before the meals were served . If you love seafood this is the place! Shrimps were perfectly cooked, mussels scrumptious, calamari delicious and my meal whole grilled sardines brought me back to Europe. It’s known for its famous chicken but maybe next time we will try it. Jason, our waiter was attentive and very courteous. And recommended the chicken for next time.

The food at O’Cantinho is outstanding—delicious, homemade, and family-run. However, during a recent visit, the service we received was shockingly poor, which was completely unexpected given our previous wonderful experience. On our last visit, the waiter was friendly, chatty, patient, and cheerful. This time, unfortunately, we encountered the complete opposite. Our waiter was rude, impatient, dismissive, ignoring us, and cutting us off when we tried chatting with him. Upon finally being seated—uncomfortably close to another table despite the availability of more spacious options, which I was ignored for requesting—our table was then neglected for nearly 15 minutes. This lack of attention was met only with an annoyed stare, rather than an apology. The other waiter was no better and basically stayed behind the bar or in the kitchen instead of helping wait on customers.
This treatment began as soon as we arrived, so it couldn’t have been prompted by anything we did. Being Portuguese, I understand slow service, but this was well beyond that. It’s regrettable that we won’t be dining in the restaurant again because of the way we were treated; however, we might still opt for take-out because the food truly is delicious. We simply cannot subject ourselves to that kind of treatment again. It’s a real shame!

Great little Portuguese restaurant that I think we were lucky to get a table in as a walk in. Only about 8 tables in there (depending on configuration of course). The food was excellent. If you are debating between fries and the round potatoes just go with the round potatoes. You won’t be disappointed. Chicken was outstanding!
Only lost a star because the service was so slow. There is only 1 guy running the front of house and he does the table clearing, seating new guests, orders, serving and also runs the small bar area so it’s a lot to do for one person. From the time we walked in, to the time we ate was 1 hour. So, if you are in a rush, give this a skip and rather come when you have some time.

The food was awesome, chicken was great, shrimp was nice and spicy. The potatoes and fries were the best I’ve ever had, crispy on the outside and moist inside. Rice was delicious too.

This was really great. It was packed but I found a seat by the window. It was a bit noisy with conversions but it was a nice noisy.

Homemade deliciousness and freshness! The chicken and homemade sauce are one of a kind. Everything is so good! Prices for portions are more than reasonable and quality is unreal! If you haven’t tried it before, I highly recommend.
