Was looking for a places in Cornwall I haven’t been yet and came upon the Farmhouse. Previously, it was a market only, but they have now updated to have a restaurant and bar. The bar has a few beers on draft, a small wine and liquor selection and they said will be getting wine on draft which I found interesting. The charcuterie selection and made to order sandwiches and sides looked tasty. We ordered Mac and Cheese to start as an appetizer. I got the Chicken Sandwich and my co-worker got the country fried steak. Both were delicious. The chicken sandwich sounds a little bizarre based in the ingredients but the all complimented each other for great flavor. I’m picky on my Mac and cheese…. cause I love cheese… it was very good and cheesy. I was disappointed because I really wanted the brats in blankets. But.. that just means I have to go back! Loved the ambience and Rebecca (I think that’s right) who took care of us.

First time eating here and very disappointed
Ordered the tempura fish and chips, $18.99……I’ve had better store bought frozen fish fillets than what was served here! Actually what I received was off label frozen fish fillets, not even Gortons brand! Initially given 3 skimpy little, overcooked in old oil, fish fillets! 3 more were provided just before asking for the check. Another person with me ordered mozzarella sticks, she received 6 measly frozen sticks, 3 of which had no cheese inside! Also cooked in old oil. Very strange, but I believe the cooking was all being done in the food truck in the parking lot, why else would the server have to go outside and return into the restaurant with food plates? Thus rendering hot food being cold
Extremely disappointed and will not be eating here again!
Included a photo of my fish fillets……certainly NOT tempura……..
On a positive note, the server was very good, poor guy was alone to do everything, gave him 4 stars

The Farmhouse Café & Bar is a true standout. The quality of the food is excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, from the beautifully plated mains to the small touches like house-made bread and seasonal ingredients.

The menu offers a great mix of comfort food and modern favorites, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual brunch or a relaxed evening out. Drinks from the bar are just as impressive, with a great selection of cocktails and wines.

Service was friendly and attentive, rounding out a truly enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for great food in a cozy, welcoming setting, The Farmhouse Café & Bar is absolutely worth a visit.

WOW.THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN

So I’m from Long Island, and I randomly stopped by The Farmhouse Market one weekend because I was in the area visiting some friends. BEST choice ever!

They have a little bit of everything from the surrounding areas–beers, meats, cheeses, sauces, ketchup, soups, bread, salsa, hot sauce, chips, etc. Anything you can think of!
And the best part was there was a little deli counter. You can get a fresh Charcuterie Board to go! It will be all wrapped up and you can take it to one of the local parks near by. We also go some deli sandwiches from there and some amazing local craft beers!! We have a fully packed lunch all prepared to go, not a long wait at all!

The Cornwall Landing Park is only a 10-15 minute drive from the market! So you grab your food from there and then have a beautiful afternoon eating all this amazing food and enjoy the fresh air right on the Hudson.

Here are some pictures of some food we got and the pictures of the park. I also grabbed a quick picture of two of the co-owners and their little 8 month son! Very quick, family friendly run business.

I can’t wait to go back!!!

Pristine shop with local art, local treasures and a wide variety of drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), meats, cheeses, chips, fruit, etc.. The sandwich I had was perfect – the bread was crunchy and soft with delicious pickles and locally sourced meats & cheeses. And it was very large! The couscous side salad was so good, too. Helpful staff. Appreciated the military discount. Spacious table to eat at if your not in and out (great items to go on a picnic with…!). I’m gonna keep their charcuterie boards in mind for the future!

The Farmhouse Restaurant in Cornwall is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Whether you’re there for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, the service is consistently top-notch and the vibe is cozy and inviting.

Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! Their sandwiches and burgers are next-level delicious. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The menu has a creative twist on classic comfort food, and everything is made fresh and cooked to perfection. Whether it’s the juicy burgers, the perfectly toasted sandwiches, or the generous portions, you truly can’t go wrong. If you’re anywhere near Cornwall, The Farmhouse is a must-visit. One of the best dining experiences around!

My friend and I came here for lunch before going to the Storm King Art Center. One person was hosting, and waiting for the whole restaurant, but we were never left waiting for anything! He was quick, efficient, and kind.

We got burgers and fries which came out quick and hot. Absolutely delicious, and more than we were expecting for the price. If you’re in the area and looking for a filling meal at very reasonable prices, come here!

If you’re looking for fresh, delicious food served with a smile, look no further than The Farmhouse Market! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wide variety of options available. Whether you’re craving a hearty meal, a healthy salad, or something sweet, they have something to satisfy every taste and dietary preference.

The quality of the food is unmatched – you can tell everything is made with the freshest ingredients. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it’s clear the team here puts a lot of care and thought into their menu. This was my third time here and they still impress me. Today I got a grilled cheese with tomato soup and I can’t stop talking about how delicious it was! Last time I had the Beacon overlook and also another smash hit.

What really set The Farmhouse Market apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was so friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They even made personalized recommendations, which turned out to be spot on!

This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be coming back – and telling everyone I know to do the same!

I am not sure what’s happened with this place, new ownership, new chef, bad day? Whatever it is, this formerly lovely local cafe has taken a seriously bad turn. We recently stopped in for lunch thinking it would be relatively quick and tasty. Not only was the service slower than molasses, the food we received was not only not super tasty but also some of it not even close to what was described on the menu. For example, one sandwich we ordered was the “North Point”: the bread was nearly gray in color, the meat and cheese looked like a budget school lunch product and it was absolutely slathered in plain mayonnaise, zero flavor at all in sight. And let’s talk about the “Main Street Melt”…that arrived on the same gray, weird roll as the North Point, no garlic bread to be seen as in the description. Also the sandwich arrived on a plate without fries at all, also not as listed on the menu. There was barely a hint of mozzarella and the beef tasted a bit off. Neither of us could even stomach the food to finish it. It was an expensive and sad endeavor. And let’s not even go there with the very bizarre walk to the bathrooms. I’m just so sorry to say it was overall incredibly disappointing when compared to previous visits to this restaurant in the past. Thumbs down, Google. Definitely cannot recommend.
