I live about 40 minutes away so i like to call ahead. I REALLY love to eat there because the corn tortillas are made fresh daily and their barbacoa doesn’t disappoint either. Doña Maria (owner) is so polite and attentive.

Horrible. Even for authentic style burritos. The carne was full of gristle and over salty and a soggy tortilla because they didn’t thicken the juice it cooked in. Really cheap meat like round steak. The Barbacoa was oily and had no flavor. Overall their burritos just are bad! El Taco Taco was closed and so we tried this place but will not ever be back.

I have always had good experiences at El Comal but this time I was truly disappointed. My burrito (desebrada) was so dry it was like chewing on toothpicks. This and their corn tortillas are the only things I ever order from here. They are the only place that sells Desebrada in Plainview but I’m not sure I’ll visit this place again

My Sunday breakfast !! The tortillas are made fresh here so you can buy them by the package .They have fresh corn and flour they both are delicious,I don’t make tortillas anymore .You can also buy Barbacoa by the pound (which that’s what I do) you get two 2oz types of hot sauce made there,and a 2 oz container of cilanto and onions mix .Usually when you get a pound you don’t get too much fat like you would from Burrito.

Today the owner was extremely rude and kicked us out while we were just on our phone after asking the clerk if we can stay there while we wait and she said yes. And also told me to take my hoodie off cuz he dont like hoodiesand treated me as if i was a kid and then came outside in a aggressive way and eventually throughout the agruement he put his hands on us ..highly dont recommend this place

Ordered sunday lunch. Got the super burrito. Had to spit out all the meat it was so chewy… it would choke my dog. Im no whiner either. Lady at the counter tried to trick me out of my change and then gave me attitude and began to discuss with the other spanish speaking customers how i am a “codo” (meaning cheap). Worst experience.
