This was a delightful place. Definitely a place where you go if youre aren’t hungry. It was just my girlfriend and I, we decided to give this place a try after the parades. We were 1 of 3 tables so it was a quiet experience. We were seated and then we waited, and waited and waited. 45 minutes to get our order , another 30 after we ordered. When the food did arrive it was delicious and the presentation was absolutely top notch. We had our drinks refilled exactly once in that nearly 2 hour experience. Maybe if we had a table full of people the experience would have been different. Overall , the restaurant was both nice , exhausting and we’ll see about going back.

This is a place you go for the vibe. It’s very mellow & mature. The menu is simple, which I found limiting, but the dishes we ordered were really solid on flavor and presentation. I had the seafood dip and my man had the smothered catfish. I must give acknowledgement to the fries. They were really good with a seasoning that elevated the flavor.
The cocktail was the star of the show here- one of the best margaritas I’ve had in a while.

Ate here yesterday. The food was incredible but the service was even better. The Brussel sprouts were probably the best i’ve ever had. My colleagues enjoyed the shrimp. We all had steak, it was cooked more than i wanted but still somehow tender and enjoyable. Ash was an incredible server. We work in the foodservice industry and you don’t find servers like him often – knew the menu and drinks, friendly, attentive. Will definitely come back my next trip in!

Ate here with a group of women for a Sunday brunch! The atmosphere is super cool but they didn’t have a bartender working took us forever to get our drinks!! The server was great, she had just started working there and did what she could! I got the soup and salad- soup was amazing, salad was so so!! Get you a great bartender and you could get more stars!!

Drinks? Amazing! Atmosphere? Amazing! Service? Great! But don’t get the steak The people I was with said the steak was only okay too and some folks at another table had the same opinion, it didn’t help that my steak arrived a lil cold I did have a lady in the bathroom Tell me that the seafood dip for an appetizer was really good! But I’m probably going to wait a while before I come back because I want the food to be better. Vibes, atmosphere, and good drinks go a little bit of a way especially with great service but if the food falls short I’m probably personally not going to be in there for a while.

Lovely, upscale, relaxed vibe, quiet music, modern decor, excellent service, and the food … oh, my! Our Zydeco egg rolls, Crawfish and Shrimp Gouda grits, and Bayou Mac and cheese were so satisfying – delicious, elevated comfort food! We had the Beignets for dessert – warm and delicious. My only complaint is that I couldn’t get a decaf coffee to drink with dessert. We were passing through for the night and so glad we found Lumora.

A Total vibe!!!! Arrived on a Thursday and didn’t know it was happy hour all day, yesss all day. We had a few drinks and the shrimp amd crawfish appetizer dip was superb. Very flavorful. Didn’t quite like the voodoo rolls, too Much cream cheese but overall the drinks amd ambiance will definitely have me returning. Thanks for being so friendly also!

My overall experience of Lumora was well satisfied It’s best to make reservations, tho (I was with a group of 12!). I only ate appetizers and was stuffed! The food was fresh and hot. I really enjoyed the entertainment of the drink on fire and the one with the flavorful bubbles. I would definitely visit again and try other things from the menu. Our Waiter was patient and very informal when asked about stuff on the menu.

Whether grabbing a quick lunch, brunch with friends or an intimate date night, Lumora Kitchen & Bar did not disappoint! Everything we ordered from the drinks, to the apps, main course and dessert was phenomenal … every bite was chef’s kiss
