Great service. Sat at the bar with friends and we were able to order anything we wanted. We ordered from the happy hour menu as well as the special dinner menu. The restaurant is truly pristine. The food is delicious and plentiful. The bartender especially accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

We eat out in Southwest Florida on a regular basis and just learned of this restaurant. Definitely it’s now on the rotation. Its New york origins are not lost and the menu is insanely inviting. We were a party of 12 and everybody had something different and everybody was impressed with the service, the quality the atmosphere and the live music was a bonus. Definitely five star and we are coming back! I left feeling not just full but truly satisfied, because this place clearly values its guests, its craft, and its reputation, and that commitment shines through in every part of the dining experience. This restaurant is now very popular so I do recommend securing reservations in advance.

Our dinner at Mare Terra was a mixed experience. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. We had prosciutto melone, beef carpacio and seafood salad for appetizer – all were excellent. For main course, we had pasta, octopus and dover sole – again, all were very good. However, the service was abysmal – mostly because we seemed to have a really terrible server who was nowhere to be found most of the time. Food took a very long time to come out and we could never find our server to get more water or other drinks. He seemed to be prioritizing wiping dishes and doing other clean up in the back and never came out until we went to get him. We did not bother ordering dessert because we were afraid it was going to take forever as well. So great food with awful service.

We reserved with Mare Terra sight unseen for an anniversary dinner for 20 (half children). The restaurant is very close to our home base on Fort Myers Beach. Sal and his great team (event coordinator Debbie, assistant manager Alex, cooks in the kitchen and servers Monica and Angelo) did a phenomenal job of providing a delightful evening. Food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time. We are so grateful and happy to heartily recommend this venue.

Gorgeous interior, beautiful artwork, AJ was the best server ever. Food and service were spectacular. Owner and manager were very nice and even sent complimentary after dinner liquor to multiple tables. Best food ever. Can’t wait to go back. I think this could be the best meal I’ve had since moving to Ft Myers from Arizona.
