Went today for lunch to go. Nicely packed meal. Really nice staff to order from. Easy wait in quiet environment. When I got home, the food was fresh and everything I wanted. Nothing was missed and tons of flavor. I’ll be a regular customer! Only problem was no kimchi.. hoping they will get it soon.

Called in a to go order for generals with fried rice and orange chicken with lo mein combo. Was told 15-20 min for pickup. Upon arrival there waa no greeting nothing until I was asked about white rice. I stated fried rice and a lo mein. He did not understand me. So I got generals with fried rice and plain chicken with fried rice 55 minutes later. Will NOT go here again.

Is this restaurant owned by the same people? The remodel is very nice. Very clean.however, one of our orders was chicken and broccoli, we got home and had beef and broccoli. Also, no fried rice with either order. Just plain rice. We will give it another try, though. We were very anxious for them to open, and we will definitely try again. The food was good.

Did an online order was given a time of 6:29pm my husband calls me at 7:15 and says it’s still not ready …so he finally gets home we live close to Powell Gardens and the packing of our 51.31 order is horrible..the Shrimp Lo Mein is dumped in the sack on all the other stuff I did my best to salvage it. All the food was very greasy and tasteless. Not worth the wait or the price for sure!

I would consider Golden Bowl an authentic hidden gem. We went with a large group and shared a mix of items. The kids had sweet and sour chicken / chicken lo mein and ate every bite. The fish pots were FULL of flavor. Great service. We will be back often – one note if you want a hot pot to call in advance so the kitchen can prep accordingly.

Update- Golden Bowl – Well, lets see. They scraped a big huge pan, that you use for soup or pasta, scraped the bottom of the pan to plate up my beef and broccoli. It was crunchy, and tangy like vinegar. I ordered two orders of egg roll and got one. I paid $8.00 for two egg rolls. Ordered a large beef and broccoli and it did not even fill the container halfway. Service was short. I asked if it was paid for, was told yes. I started to walk out and was asked if I was going to pay. I responded that I was told it was paid for. For clarification one person helped me, so that is what I call mis-communication. We will not be going back. Which is a shame, I have been looking for a hot pot restaurant.
In response to the restaurant’s reply. When I phone in order I asked how many egg rolls per order, they replied 2, so I requested 2 orders. Regarding the payment question.
I am used to my container of beef and broccoli of being so full it nearly busts. What I got was half full, you could have put twice as much as you did in the container and it still not be full. We threw it away. I am use to the beef the side of my thumb as so tender it melts. We looked at it and smelled it, could not eat it.
One person ordered and another person picked up. One should never assume. The person that picked up the order was not aware if the order had been paid for (our usual place we pay ahead) which is why she asked. So you assumed that it was the same person that made the order, you assumed that person was too stupid to know that they had not paid. Well you know what they say about making assumptions.

Quoted a 30 minute wait and say there for an hour. Order was also incorrect. $50 for 2 people. There were also no lights on which was strange.
