A friend had told me about this place and I decided to give it a try. I am now a life long customer. I can’t describe the pizza other than fresh, consistent, delicious homemade dough and sauce. Amazing pies! The sauce, wow, the sauce!! Better than Pepe’s and Sally’s in New Haven. Michael, the chef extraordinaire, was even better. Ask him for his cooking tips and views on the *correct* way to cook Italian food and you won’t be disappointed. We live in Virginia but, if we lived close to Schifano’s, we would be regulars.

Ordered a Chicken Finger Sub at your newest location 3379 Lake Shore Rd. Blasdell,. NY 14219. It was very delicious and fresh. I’ve heard great things about your pizza so most likely I’ll be trying that on Superbowl Sunday. I’m sure you’ll see much more of me in the future. Really good pizza. Fresh green oregano on it which is not typically seen in my experiences. Good soft drink selection too, they have Baja blast which is uncommon outside of Taco Bell or KFC. Comfortable chairs in the dinning area. Only criticism is it’s a little expensive, but still 5 stars because of the fresh quality.

Stopped in to grab an early dinner after a flight and really enjoyed everything I ordered. I got a half sausage half pepperoni pizza, which was delicious and had a flavorful sauce on it.
The boneless chicken bites I got were big, juicy pieces and it came with two different dipping sauces based on the number I ordered And they were a stand out for me compared to others I’ve had in the area.
And lastly, though I’m not a big fan of cannolis, I got the mini cannolis for dessert and they were actually pretty good. I didn’t dine in as the places not very large inside, but the staff were friendly and I was able to place my order via phone and pick up about 25-30 minutes later.

The pizza had a good amount of cheese, but the crust was unremarkable, the sauce was mediocre. I expect more in WNY. The service was top notch and very personable. No veterans discount. The wings were nice but not crispy enough.

Schifano’s is an old-school pizzeria that absolutely nails their pie. The crust, sauce and fresh mozzarella are all outstanding. The owner is almost always front of house and friendly and personable when you cash out. Their pricing is cheaper than others with better quality than their neighbors. I’ve had their pizza quite a few times this winter and the quality is consistent. If you haven’t eaten there yet, you should.
