Been going to Classics semi-regularly for a decade or more. Not a regular, but definitely spent some money here. Went in for a beer after some golf the other day, and the bartender was as slow as humanly possible with a couple groups including mine but had no problem serving regulars/friends as soon as they walked in. Ignored me when I tried to get her attention. When we decided to just walk out without closing (she wasn’t getting a tip) she yelled something at us as we left. There are better bars. The back ‘patio’/outdoor area smells like a seat in front of a Vegas slot machine someone died in, the bathrooms are regularly disgusting, and pop a shot is broken all the time. Pizza is really good. Too bad the service is so awful.

The place really has a great atmosphere. It’s been busy every time I’ve visited. It’s not so crowded that you can’t walk through the place. It’s a great balance. They have a huge patio which is great in the summer months. The only issue I keep running across is the staff. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it’s been the same the last six times I’ve visited in the last two years. The bar is not staffed enough to handle the business they get. The female bar tenders come and go but they have one male bartender that sticks out. He is really slow, almost to the point where it seems intentional. He ruins it for me every time. This place would be great if the wait for drinks wasn’t so unnecessarily long.

Classics pizza simply tops in Central Ohio a comfortable atmosphere and essentially the overall community ‘Cheers Bar’ where everyone knows your face and friends. Easygoing and upbeat more than a bar a casual meeting up place.

The bartenders weren’t super friendly but weren’t necessarily rude. The first time we ordered, there was no greeting, she just kind of stood there and looked at us so we ordered a Jim Beam and coke and a Tito’s and water. We watched her pour and the JB was the last of the bottle and I’m certain wasn’t a full shot. She brought them back and the vodka drink was good but it was obviously stronger pour than the Jim Beam. We were charged $18, paid in cash. We had just left Jimmy Vs and paid $12 so the price seemed extremely high. We met friends on the patio- there is no patio service so I went back inside to order one more round. Same bartender…ordered same drinks. She ask the tab name and I told her I was paying cash. I was charged $12.75. So I’m not sure why I was over charged the first time…maybe because we weren’t regulars? Maybe she thought we were paying by credit card? Maybe just a mistake? Idk either way, not cool. I didn’t bring it up to her because there was no way for me to prove what she charged me the first time, they were very busy, and she already wasn’t friendly.
We stayed to visit with friends who are regulars for probably 2 hours more but we didn’t buy any more drinks after that. They did order pizza and it was pretty good for bar food but the lack of friendly service and being over charged turned me off from this place.

I am homeless and was down on my luck the other night I believe it was on 6/3. Well the manager blessed me with a large pizza. It was literally the best pizza I can remember having. Thank you so much!

Always a nice place to go. They have beer and they make a pretty darn good pizza, which are the 2 things I wanted. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but worth the trip.
