Chicken and fish are really good. I mean, really good. I also love the rib tips, but sometimes they include pieces that aren’t chewable, mostly the ends. Also, the collard greens are on point. Oh, I almost forgot the sauce. I’ve only had the sweet and sweet heat. Don’t be skimpy with the sauce. If I get an extra-large rib tip, I want the sauce all the way through. My last order didn’t have enough sauce. The only thing I didn’t like was the pork hot links. They were too soft. I’m used to a little chew on my sausages. They could be made differently than what I’m used to. Overall this is my BBQ joint from here on out.

We were pleasantly surprised. After many let downs from other locations, we finally found a spot we are looking to revisit. We ordered the fried chicken wing combo, salmon burger, rib tips and the KTMB samplers fried and grilled mixed. The wing breading was good. The tips were actual tips that weren’t over cooked and didn’t taste reheated and dry. The salmon burger was done right and not dry. The fries were homemade style. They needed salt but good nonetheless. I was so pleased to find a BBQ place that offered seafood since I’m pescatarian and only eat fish. If they can add some Perch or Tilapia we are truly winning. Oh, and the cashier was great as well. Engaging. Made recommendations. Helpful.

The cook personally packed my order and assured me that I would be satisfied after my warning that when it comes to food, I am about the business of flavor, quality, and freshness. He did not dissapoint me and produced chunky, meaty, bite-sized chunks of moist, juicy, finger-licking, and fall-apart tender tips with rich, smoky flavor that was exceptionally succulent and flavorful with every bit. The crispy, flavorful bark locked in the moisture, contrasting it with the tender meat. A combination of meat and cartilage, with a bit of fat, delivered that intense, deep pork flavor of robust smoky goodness. The meat was well seasoned, but not overpowered by the seasoning and sauce (I asked for sauce on the side to truly get a feel for the quality of the smoked meat). The sauce was sweet and tangy. The portion was ample, and the cut fries had a golden-brown exterior with some potato skin and a hot, fluffy, soft interior.
Prices were reasonable. Staff was pleasant and cook not afraid to interact with customers. Keep up smoking great meats and providing great services with consistentcies. I would love to see more of a variety of comfort sides such as collards, sweet potatoes, okra, etc., so my ask is for chef to get creative and……I almost dinged a star cause I gotta ask…where are the briskets??????

Service is welcoming and very polite and helpful in menu selection. I picked up an order for someone but could not resist ordering for myself. The smell and aroma of the restaurant watered my mouth. I returned back to pick up my order of rib tips and fried wings smothered with the sweet barbecue sauce. The tips are absolutely tender, juicy and not at all dry by any means. The rib tips are the bomb! So much meat on them soaked with sauce and juicy. The fried wings with the sauce was perfect. I recommend this place for great service, excellent and superb food and the friendly staff welcomes everyone with politeness and great service. I will be returning because it’s hard to find this type of food in Northwest Indiana. Please keep up the great work in the taste of the food. It is the bomb.

We have been hearing a lot about this place so we decided to phone in an order. I tried to order online only to find out that online ordering isn’t available, that’s why they got 4 instead of 5 stars.
The food was great! We ordered the large catfish and wing combo fried hard with a side Mac & cheese. My wife and I split it and we still have leftovers. The seasoning was amazing, the chicken and fish were crispy too. I might go back tomorrow. I was disappointed they didn’t have any peach cobbler with extra crust so I do have to return.

Stopped by and bought the regular tip and catfish combo and also a regular tip and link combo.
I’ll be honest, the food wasn’t good, but you get your money’s worth in quantity. The rib tips were tough and lacked seasoning and the sauce was thin and oily and not enough flavor to make up for the unseasoned meat.
The hot links were and the catfish was just that… catfish. This was my first visit and I wasn’t impressed, but there are other items on the menu that I’m willing to try so currently I’m on the fence about going back.

I can’t speak towards the atmosphere nor service since my boyfriend ordered the food on UberEats but my salmon burger was not only very black and charred but that’s all I tasted, no flavor. I cut off the bottom of the salmon burger hoping it was just charred but still truly had no flavor. My boyfriend ordered the turkey burger, he didn’t even try it because of the parchment paper in his burger. We were excited from the videos on TikTok but the fries were also tasteless and very hard even with the sauce on them.
Maybe we need to try the ribs because this was unfortunately disappointing, plus we order well over an hour before they closed.
