The sweets this cafe offers are excellent!! I love the menu. I personally tried their funnel cake, which was light and not too sweet, which is exactly how I like it. I would 100% recommend it to everyone who is in the area to try it.

i overall love their ice creams, funnel cakes, fried oreos, and raspados and such but i HATE their esquites. They are the worst, i always tell ppl to never get it. The corn is always partially raw (or smtg wrong with it at least) and the cheese is sooo salty, i hate it. Everything else on their menu is usually a safe bet. BUT NEVER get the esquites. I’ve tried them three times, months apart, and was disappointed 3 times. (BTW esquites are my favorite snack in the world)
The hot Cheetos w cheese are not worth it for $7. It’s good, but not enough hot Cheetos for it to be worth $7, I was hoping it was going to be in the $5 bag of hot Cheetos you get at the store but no. They give you too little to pay a lot. The horchata taste good, it tastes a bit creamy, and I believe the cost is worth it for the amount, 32oz.
This was also the second time I tried an açaí. I don’t remember how they’re supposed to taste like. But it was a lil sour but as I continued drinking it, I liked it more!
The lil kid table is adorable. However, the toys are disgusting, sticky, and gross. I don’t think they’ve washed them since they added that area.

If i could give it a 0 i would, decided to get sum deserts with my friends before we hit and club and not only did she charge us for chips we didn’t ask for, but charged my friend 5$ to use the restroom. and 5$ on top of that for some basic ahh icecream. the fried oreos were okay but honestly we waited to long for it and didn’t even check in on us to let us know how long it would be ready. we waited outside cause it toook so long we wanted to sit down. it wasnt until my friend came back from the restroom and asked them for the oreos “they were ready”. We were outside and people kept coming out telling us how bad service the old lady in the front was giving, also charging them extra for things they didn’t order. Not worth it going there. Make it yourself or go somewhere else.

Now this is delicious traditional nieve de garrafa (churned ice cream) without heavy consistency of milk. More like a raspado but a tad bit creamy. I loved their coconut ice cream that has dried coconut strips
Also their esquite is satisfying! It reminds my husband of his hometown in Mexico. I usually request light mayo in my esquite.
The funnel cake is enough for two
Açaí bowl portion is super filling!
El Mercadito in LA has been replaced.
