Great experience at Umi Asian Cuisine — the food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, especially the sushi, and the seafood. Generous portions and friendly, attentive service made the visit even better. A solid go-to spot for Asian cuisine in RI — will definitely be back!

Wonderful Chinese restaurant! I came here with friends for Thanksgiving and I am so grateful that they were open! I ordered Sesame chicken with fried rice and egg roll. Price is fair, food is delicious, and the waitress was very kind and welcoming.

ALLERGY DANGER!!! We have shellfish allergy and they gave us crab Rangoon instead of pork buns that we ordered. My husband bit into the Rangoon because he didn’t know what it was and he’s allergic. I called to complain and the woman hung up on me TWICE!!! She barely spoke English, which is fine, but instead of being patient and listening to me, she just hung up. Avoid this place if you don’t want to die.

This was some of the best Asian food I’ve had in my life. These little whole one the wall shops are great. The spring rolls were nice and crispy, the egg drop soup was supreme and the Tampura and beef on a stick was great. my mother in law said it was the best she’s ever had, and she’s been all over the Continent. Multi lingual staff was great, we left a big tip.

I love the food it’s definitely one of the best on the island hands down. The price is average for a Chinese restaurant spending about 25-50 for two people. The delivery service is fast and accurate. When they give you a time it’s very close. Unlike dominos or A1 pizza

The food really isn’t bad, I was not disappointed honestly. I will say I think you can improve by throwing in some background music. The tobiko was okay, I might not opt to order it again here. But they did good on the general gao tofu, that one was pleasant! Rice could be improved but like I said I don’t think it’s bad, just not impressive. However they have a lot on their menu so who knows, compared to other fusion spots I was happy to see more than 5 things in the menu in the first place

I absolutely hate giving 1 star reviews but I feel like I truly have to so others don’t waste there money. I knew it wasn’t going to be good when I was served my sushi on a Styrofoam plate , I got the Tuna lovers lunch special. The sashimi was chewy , the tuna rolls were almost brown and the , sushi (slab of fish over rice) literally had the color of raw chicken. It was honestly and I hate to say it the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. Our server didn’t check up on us once , but we heard her in the back yelling at what I presume another employee. Please do not ever consider going here, I might just make myself throw up because I know I am going to be sick later.
