Great ‘maid rights’… You might know them as kinda dry sloppy Joes. Three different kinds of gravy (country, chicken, beef). Breakfast available all day long. Great, multiple potato options… From twice baked to mashed.

We enjoy stopping in with friends and relatives usually every other Sunday.
I give them 5 stars overall, because we enjoy the experience. The food is good, and prices are comparable to other area restaurants. The staff do an admirable job of order taking, cooking, serving and clean up, and are usually very personable.

Worst Maid Rite EVER!! Called at 1:30 to check closing time, we were told closed at 5pm grill off at 4:30. We got there at 3:30 and wanted 6 Cheese Maid Rites to go. The cook was cleaning the grill, desserts were put away, and a sign on the door saying they were closing at 4pm. The waitress kept telling us we couldn’t just order 6 sandwiches, we had to get the combo or couldn’t order them. Finally got her to understand just to order sandwiches . We ordered the 6 sandwiches and when the cook put them in the window the waitress and manager were too busy on their phone to get our food. Then they could not figure out how to bag up a to go order. The sandwiches were manhandled and rebagged multiple times. It was the must unwelcoming experience. They clearly did not want anymore customers. We got home and they were the greasy remains of the day’s Maid Rite meat. And apparently the cook was ready to go home because we had big chunks of onions. They WERE NOT diced. No one could finish their sandwich and unfortunately everyone felt awful all night long. My husband called the manager and asked about the onion issue and was told their Maid Rite is different and that’s how they’re always made. It sounded like we weren’t the first ones to complain. As lifelong Maid Rite fans, we will never return and NEVER EVER bring an out of town visitor there again. IF YOU LOVE MAID RITES-DON’T EAT HERE!!!! Should be able to give them all zeros!!!

Just stopped here 2/10/24. I personally feel like they have upped there game, food was excellent, service was good and even though they were very busy the food came out quick and fresh. Wonderful experience.

The food was Awesome… especially the maid rite! The waitress Savannah was just as Awesome! She was the only waitress on duty tonight and she was doing a Great job running the place solo!! Kudos! She deserves a Hugh Raise!

After being told that Burlington Iowa maid rite wasn’t very good and not to eat there. Today I decided to stop in. The food was really good. Waitress was really friendly and the food was delivered as quickly as they could. I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying the food.

We won’t be back. We really like maid rites, but this one left us disappointed. Watery, over priced sodas and super bland meat, along with the shake mixer being broken, was just the final straw. One waitress said the place was for sale when one customer mentioned an improvement. “Good enough” mentality.
