Hidden gem! Ordered the family platter which includes 3 types of meat, rice or pasta, salad, and a few bananas. Really enjoyed the beef, goat, bbq chicken on top of fragrant rice.

FOOD POISONING!! Unsanitary food handling. Old, poor quality food. My son and I have never been this sick in our lives before.
I ordered their chicken with rice and a chicken roll to go. The lady that was at the cashier register went into the back and put the chicken and rice into the to go container without using gloves or washing her hands.
The man that took over the cash register put the chicken roll into the paper bag, ALSO without gloves or washing his hands. I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they washed or sanitise their hands prior to me coming in (also I never had any stomach issues when the previous owner was running it).
The chicken WAS NOT FRESH, it was hard and crumbling in my mouth as I was chewing it. It had no flavour and it seemed like it was left out for days. That same day, two hours after I tried the chicken and the rice, I started to become extremely ill. I was in bed for two days too weak to get up.
My son took TWO BITES of the chicken roll. That same night he spontaneously vomited while sleeping. He ran to the bathroom in the middle of the night projectile vomiting. For the next two days he continued to vomit and be extremely sick.
The MDH and public health inspectors need to take a look at this place.

The food is not good Test and it’s expensive especially if you are a truck driver they charge you a lot of money they charge you one plate plus one cup of tea and that tea they make just water and milk when it’s not good tea it’s not Somali tea they charge you just one plate $40 the review your pocket and the guy whose phone this doesn’t have no respect. I have never seen somebody’s server a restaurant disrespected like that my entire life so please never go this place and watch your car bank when you go in this place, the food not clean

Best gyros around. The FRIES ARE AMAZING!!!! More than a decent portion as well. They really fill the box. So good, I didn’t a picture. I always forget to because I want to start eating right away. Haven’t had their goat meat, but it seems they’re always selling it all day. Sambusa is also good. LOVE THEIR TEA. MUST TRY.

So delicious! I was so happy to hear a gyro place was coming back to Shakopee and does NOT disappoint! We haven’t tried to many things on the menu yet because I can’t bare not to order my beloved gyros. But we ordered the Sambusa one day and now its a family favorite! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Food was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Goat meat was falling of the bone it was perfectly cooked. customer service was on point, the guy taking orders was very helpful. we got our food promptly after ordering all nice and hot.
