If you’re vegetarian, you know the struggle: most Thai places offer one or two sad “vegetable” dishes and call it a day. This place does the opposite. The menu actually feels thoughtful and intentional, not like an afterthought. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, beautifully cooked, and deeply satisfying—no compromises, no “you won’t miss the meat” disclaimers needed.
You can tell they really understand Thai flavors and how to translate them into vegan and vegetarian dishes that are just as exciting as the traditional ones. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we’re ordering next time.
If you’re looking for top-tier Thai food and especially if you’re vegan or vegetarian, this place is an absolute gem. Can’t recommend it enough.
The boat noodles were rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, with tender meat and perfectly cooked noodles. The crispy pork belly on the side was golden and crunchy, paired wonderfully with a spicy dipping sauce. The Pad Thai wrapped in a fluffy omelet was a standout — savory, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
The papaya salad added a refreshing, spicy kick that cut through the richness of the other dishes. The grilled skewers were juicy and smoky, served with a delicious chili dipping sauce, while the glazed chicken wings were sticky, sweet, and finger-licking good.
Overall, this was an authentic Thai dining experience — generous portions, vibrant flavors, and excellent balance between spicy, savory, and fresh elements. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Thai food.
Since we both love Thai cuisine, so glad we were able to grab a reservation on a Friday night as the place was busy.
I like the sleek and cool vibe, the staffs were so nice and super friendly.
We start off with Thai Papaya Salad. I ordered the Massaman Curry w/ Chicken while hubby opted for Panang Curry w/ Shrimp.
Although the entrees took quite awhile to come out but they were good and really hit the spot for us. We shared a Le Do Thai Mango(Sticky Rice) for dessert and left with happy stomachs.
I also enjoyed the Blueberry, Basil Lemonade very much.
A side note, when we got the bill our server told us they comp us on the dessert because of the wait of our entrees(please note we never complained about the wait). It was a surprise and nice gesture, that tells us they noticed and cared which warm my heart!
So, I tried to order signature dishes. Khao Soi is the best I have in years. It tastes like home cook from my friend’s mom- her family recipe cooks for royal family. Som Tum(E-sarn) Papaya Salad tastes like what I had growing up. The Bo Ran fried rice and Moo Krob are perfectly cooked. Flavorful and beautiful food from this place. The staffs are very kind and knowledgeable about food too. This is not your typical Thai restaurants that serve Fusion foods or the place you only comfortable order Pad Thai. If you look for authentic Thai, this is the place. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. Clean, authentic and great vibes.
I live in the East Coast. I have gone to many Thai restaurants in NYC, especially on 9th Ave. Le Do Thai gave me one of the best meals similar to those Thai-go-to places of mine.
