Definitely a piece of history that is worth a visit. Only bar that has been open since 1960 non-stop… It’s just south of the border in Puryear, Tennessee… Great vibes, Great people and Great times!! Large food menu, lots of bar games, live music, karaoke and the coldest beer around!! Where you come in as a customer and leave as family!! Come hang out with us!!

Great little place. Friendly staff and great food. I’ve only had the burgers which are amazing. But if the rest of the food is as good as the burger then it will be very good. Great lunch spot.

The bar tender acted like she didn’t even see me. Walked in, sat down by myself, and waited for over 10 minutes. She looked at me several times, finally walked over, pointed at me, and I told her what I wanted, only a beer. She brought it to me,drank it, wanted another but she never came back over. I could have drank 4 beers by the time I got fed up. Stuck a $5 bill under my “empty” bottle. Got up and walked out. I’ve been there other times with a good experience. But not today. 3/11/25 @ between 3 and 4:45 pm. They were busy, but not that damned busy.

Fun spot…think of cheers but on the border of rural KY/TN…Murray state being close by, a few miles down the road in KY and another college in Martin TN the other direction…. Smack in the middle, an ecclectic group of clientele frequent here on regular schedules with the college students filling in all the gaps….the staff is the glue that keeps the regulars coming and the atmosphere cheery;)
