I was a daily customer at Genos for about 8 months and even used the rewards app. My regular order was a salad with added turkey, which an employee originally told me I could get and I had been receiving for months.

One day I was suddenly told I could not get turkey because it “wasn’t on the menu,” even though I had ordered it that way for a long time. However, when I sent other people in to order the same salad with turkey, they were able to get it with no issue and no charge .

Later I was told I could still get it but would be charged. That was fine, and I began paying $1.50 for a normal portion.

Recently, I was charged $1.50 for a much smaller portion and told there is now a strict 1oz rule and I would have to pay another $1.50 again for more. This had never been communicated before and was not how my order had been handled previously. I was also told this rule was basically made because I order it often and the meat is expensive.

The problem is the inconsistency in policy, portion size, communication and the bad attitudes of some of the employees. I feel like a premade salad with lunch meat shouldn’t cause this much of a issue, and because of these experiences, I will not be returning.

Not great as leftovers (like some pizza), but always really good when fresh & prices are cheap.

Ok, so the reason for only 4 stars is because it’s shopping mall pizza and I’m 49 years old and I’ve experienced some really really good Italian food…lol. But that having been said, for shopping mall pizza, it is pretty good. My kiddo works at P & M Gaming in the mall and wanted to meet for lunch, and well, options are limited in the mall and area, but Geno’s is definitely our go-to because the staff is the bomb friendly. Super accommodating and never mind that we take for eh verrr to figure out our order despite eventually ordering the same thing every time, large peperoni pizza cooked a little longer than normal(we like crunchy pizza), small cherry coke no ice, large cup of ice, diet coke, extra peppers, extra parm. Again, the staff here are absolutely amazing…especially for young mall workers.

Food was great, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I got fast service and we got our pizza pretty quick as well. We got free refills on our drinks for the first refill. And the pricing is really great as well.

Geno’s Pizza is, overall, a pizza chain that I go to when I’m not hungry enough for a whole pizza, so I don’t compare it to other major chains like Domino’s. With that in mind, their individual slices are very nice if you don’t mind (or, in my case, enjoy) greasy pizza. Their pricing is, additionally, hard to beat. This location, specifically, however, across 3 visits, seems to have drier, lower quality slices overall. Some may believe this to be a positive, but I think part of the appeal is that Genos is on the greasier side, as stated above. Other than that, I’ve had no issues with service nor wait times, although I’ve not visited during peak hours.

Friendly employees, good pizza at a decent price. All the workers were masked and all visible areas of the facility/kiosk were clean, neat, and tidy. 3 out of 5 stars, wouldn’t change a thing! ( )

Accidentally placed an order at this store instead of Alma. Everyone at both stores were so helpful with getting it worked out. Always great service from both locations!!! Thank you!

As far as pizza prices go for the most part these days, it was reasonable. The pizza itself is good, but I also put salt and pepper on it.

Genos pizza used to have decent pizza. I had two delivered and the crust is so tough you can barely bite through a piece of the pizza. I think this came from the food court at the Central Mall, Genos.
I will not be buying pizza from Genos again. This will have to be thrown in the trash.

Extremely disrespectful to my friend when she was ordering her food and decided to basically “throw” her food when the worker could of handed her order properly. Then proceeded to be very nice to the next customer, how does that make any sense? Either way, terrible service.
