Small but big in character. BBQ joint that also serves breakfast. Super friendly staff, fast service, and very reasonable prices. Train themed, there is a lot of railroad artwork and decorations. Food was really good. Only reason for just four stars was the really tiny coffee cups and cryptic menu. Mug did get refilled frequently though.

My first impression of A-train was somewhat skeptical, as it is somewhat tucked away and the menu needs some work. However, I couldn’t have been more glad I stopped here. I had the ribs, hush puppies, pickle spears, and the creamsicle cake. The ribs were fall of the bone, no questions about it. However, the rub is very minimal on the meat, so sauce is a must. Luckily, their sauce (smoky) is excellent and pairs very well with the ribs. The hush puppies are pretty normal, but plenty good. The pickle spears have an excellent batter, but I am not super keen on the spears idea, I prefer strips or chips, personally. The creamsicle cake is very dense, but excellent, and should really be split between two people. It is a bit pricey for BBQ in this area, but you will not be let down.

Dave and his amazing family recently catered our wedding and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Everyone complimented how awesome the food was and how accommodating and helpful they were. We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer or better food. We also want to say to anyone looking for excellent bbq, please do yourself a favor and stop by his restaurant. We can’t get enough and there’s so many things to try!!! I can’t say enough great things about A Train!!! I definitely and absolutely recommend them for breakfast, lunch or dinner and all of your catered events!!! Thank you everyone at A Train. We feel absolutely blessed to have had you as such am important part of our special day!!! <3

The restaurant was neat and clean and my waitress was very pleasant and efficient. I received my order in minimal time. All was very good except for the sausage patties which more closely resembled hockey pucks. They were so hard I literally broke a tooth. I showed my waitress the piece that broke off. They did offer to remove the sausage from my bill but since I did consume them I insisted on paying for it. Even with this unfortunate incident I would not be opposed to returning thanks to the rest of the food being very well prepared and the very pleasant wait staff.

Fabulous place! We stumbled across this jewel after a meeting and will make a point to go back very soon. The pulled pork and sweet/smokey BBQ sauce were great. Redneck calzone was an eclectic delight. But nothing holds a candle to whatever is in those BBQ beans. AMAZING. Had to get a second order.

Good breakfast but bacon was overcooked for our tastes. I think they use a bacon-press as bacon was very flat, extra extra crispy and dry. Service was excellent and friendly. Overall would recommend for typical American/Diner-style breakfast.

Great little place that serves breakfast and lunch. Breakfast specials are priced amazing$4.50 for several eggs, two bacon, sausage or ham, a nice serving of your choice of hash browns, home fries or grits and big fresh biscuits with real butter and jam. The coffee is excellent and the waitress staff really stays on top of all tables it’s a collaborative effort which is very refreshing. They do have a elaborate menu of home cooking breakfast they have custom and specialized large omelets, as will as pancakes and both thin and brioche French toast that are well prepared as well. It’s small, but charming and always busy but never uncomfortable or loud.

I love this place! Great staff, always friendly good atmosphere . If you want good home cooked food , breakfast , lunch or dinner this is the place to be. Easy to order for pick up and they have always been “ON TIME”!! Glad to see them open. This is what this plaza needed.
