Great BBQ. THis place is the true definition of barbecue in the south if you’re going through Dover Tennessee I highly recommend you stop and eat. You’ll have to go outside and sit on a picnic table, but the food is wonderful. You used to be able to go inside but for some reason, they took the tables out, but the barbecue is worth a stop better than anything we have in Martin Tennessee.

Went by to eat lunch on a Sunday leaving our daughter’s house headed back home, my husband and I ordered rib plates, the best thing on the plate was the coleslaw .
The ribs were very dry and they were cooked so long it appeared that there were more skinned and there was meat.
What is more feel of a beef jerky texture than it was rib and the sauce was a premade mixture of water vinegar and a touch of maybe hot sauce and real vinagary. The baked beans I guess they were edible I’m not going to complain about the baked beans but I am going to complain because when I was asked did I want a roll with my meal and got a hamburger bun.so I paid $27.00 to feed the birds

You need to go very early because they run out before the closing time. I showed up 30 minutes before they closed and they only had 1 pulled pork sandwich, baked beans,white beans,coleslaw, apple pie and pecan pie. .pulled pork was ok but the only put a little sauce on it and it wasn’t that great. Baked beans and white beans were awesome. Coleslaw tasted like KFC (my fav). Apple pie and pecan pie ..some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I will go back to try the chicken and ribs then review again!

I really wanted to love this place. Based on the wonderful smells coming from the pit and the excellent reviews i was sure we were in Hog heaven. Not so unfortunately. The tiny portion of pulled pork was not in the least flavorful nor delicious. Apparently other reviewers have not experienced good bbq. Saving grace wasthe twiced baked potato. But not enough to go back
