What a gem! Who knew a bar could crank out some of the best burgers in town? Tucked inside this laid-back local watering hole is a kitchen that deserves a spotlight. The Diablo Burger was spicy, juicy, and absolutely unforgettable. The Smash Burger delivered classic perfection, and the onion rings? Crispy, golden halos of goodness.
The vibe? Great music, good energy, and a menu that punches way above bar food standards. Massive variety, stellar flavors, and that unexpected “wow” factor in every bite. Amanda was friendly & attentive. 10 ⭐️ experience!

Ordered the large appetizer plaza for a bridal party . The so called nachos had little cheese and 5 orange peppers, basically just chips. Fried pickles were part of the appetizer, but they were out so we asked to substitute wit h more cheese sticks and the cook would not. She said only fries or jalapeños were our only choice, ( how u out of something then want to give the crap people don’t want?) because the large platter looked like crap we added a large onion ring which came in the Platte, (but was enough for a new born to eat) so this additional order added only 6 more onion rings. The frozen watermelon slushy had no liquor taste present. So this 25.00 dollar platter turned into 109.00 once we had to keep adding stuff . Boneless wings were decent. We asked for the cook manager to come talk to us and she would not. She kept having the bar tender rely her messages. I guess when you’re in a town where your business is the only bar like place , you can serve whatever cause the town has nothin much to offer! They are definitely over charging. And also no gloves on while cookin. Just terrible.

We went here 6.13.23 on our way to Seguin from Houston and on our way back to Houston 6.14.23. Pulled pork sandwich both times; Diablo Burger, Pork Skins, and Saint Arnold’s Root Beer 1x. Pulled Pork sandwich was so good, we came back the next day for another. I was concerned the Chipotle BBQ sauce would be spicey, making the pulled pork sandwich weird an unfamiliar to me but it didn’t taste like it with the coleslaw and onion ring on that fabulous Brioche bun. It was dee-lish! Both days we were there, we had French Fried potatoes and French Fried sweet potatoes, each were perfectly fried to a crispy texture.
The Diablo Burger was spicey good, plenty of fire if that’s your thang. I could’ve done with fewer jalapeños. The Pork Skins were done up just right and plenty for 2 ppl to share. I’d get that root beer, again – I’ll have to save room for a root beer float next time.
The service was spot on, top notch.
We were told that pool is complimentary on Tuesdays, so that’s a cool bonus.

Burgers overly salty to the point of almost being inedible (which we had found out had been complained about by other customers in the recent past). Wings were OK but nothing great thankfully cheap on Mondays. Service was OK. We will not be back. Menu items seem creative and exciting but ultimately let us down.

A GEM. Seriously, out in the middle of nowhere on a road trip with our dog, so really we were just trying to find a pet friendly place. Fantastic service (super friendly), a clean outdoor patio with games/lights, good music, 7 big TVs, clean bathroom. Only thing to improve was speed of food to table, but it probably took a while because it was so tasty and fresh lol! We got the Farmers Bowl and the HBK Salad. Reasonably priced as well, for the good amount you got. Good variety of beers on tap as well. Would be fine taking your family here or just having a good beer with a friend as well! & apparently they do a lot of events as well, like karaoke and watch parties. So amazed it’s it in the middle of nowhere too lol! Highly recommend this establishment 🙂

If u want to hear somebody screaming kicking stuff crying and cursing customers out this is the perfect place for it I was here Saturday and never will I be back food was okay the place is not bad a few nice folks and pools tables but the management is terrible I mean the other manager is just there smiling doing nothing letting this woman scream and kick stuff not even my 2 year old throw this type of tantrum service was terrible I mean imagine getting served by somebody who’s doing all this stuff and doesn’t seem to be in her right might apparently another customer said this is the normal here now this place used to okay the servers are no good now and the drinks are either to strong or has no alcohol… all of that can be looked past if the own managers weren’t causing such a chaotic scene the screaming and kicking stuff was loud u could hear it all the way to the machines I mean it ruined our appetite my sister wanted to come up here today and she reminded me how off this place is told her she’s better off at sonic or the Mexican restaurant next door …this is definitely the worse place to get service at never seen this type of management

Food used to be good… I couldn’t eat the last hamburger I ordered here. Dry served on white bread. You have to pay for extra ketchup if you want more than a tablespoon they provide. Won’t be coming back for food.. it’s a shame.

Happened upon this bar & restaurant thanks to maps showing me restaurants near me. Did NOT disappoint!! The food was amazing and the staff was even more so. Can’t say anything about the alcoholic beverages bc I was just driving home, so I couldn’t partake! Nice relaxed atmosphere, great music playing through the system, and didn’t seem rough like some places with bars, lol. Will DEFINITELY make special trips to go back soon!
