Stopped by for lunch and glad I did. They had a baked steak lunch special that was tender and flavorful. Although a smaller bar, they have a large outdoor patio area with stage. They have a pool table and looks like karaoke certain nights. I will definitely be back.

I was shooting a film in town about a month ago and one of my costars and I stopped by for a shot and a beer and ended up staying all night! I spent more on the jukebox than I did on drinks, but based on the reaction of the crowd that slowly built over time, that was a good thing! Prices are fair, atmosphere is unmatched, and unruly patrons are delt with discreetly. Great small town bar, felt very welcomed by the locals. If I find myself in town again, I’ll definitely be back!

My first time here just stopped in for a beer. This place is amazing! Built in 1897 I believe is correct originally a train Depot. The owner Jerry told me that Land of Panda is playing on the 17th of February I will be there!

Small bar in a small town. We stopped for lunch and had good fries and great burgers. Very friendly service and good prices.
They do allow smoking inside but during lunch on a Tuesday it wasn’t busy enough to bother us. Solid choice for a weary traveler tired of fast food and subway.

This little hole-in-the-wall type of establishment has the best food I’ve ever eaten and the people are so friendly. I swear the minute I walked in their establishment I felt like I was at home. The owner is extremely nice, the barmaids are friendly and welcoming the the atmosphere is perfect for I think everybody. I would personally highly recommend if you’re in the Hartford City area to stop by Depot Bar and Grill and get yourself one of their homemade sandwiches.

If you get a chance to stop they have amazing burgers, chili and appetizers man talk about a Dimond in the ruff we where pleasantly surprised. It was quite and laid back got to enjoy our meal listen to music have a drink it was nice…. awesome job guys it was nice stopping in we hope to do it again sometime soon.

I’m new in town and I live within walking distance so I decided to stop at the Depot to get a grill cheese and fries, not only was the grill cheese sososo good but everyone there were so nice and very welcoming. This place epitomizes a small town, Midwest bar. The atmosphere is super laid back and friendly. We chatted with the employee and other locals and everyone was kind and welcoming. It’s a good little place to shoot pool or get a glimpse into small town Indiana. The only downside is that there is smoking indoors.
