A&J’s is truly the best! We live out of state and every time we’re home to visit I make sure we come multiple times and always stock up on bagels to take home. Their bagels are perfect east coast bagels, big and fluffy with the perfect shine on top! My most favorite menu item is the Weekender breakfast sandwich. I seriously dream about this bagel sandwich topped with cream cheese, bacon, eggs, and a hash brown . The staff is always friendly and the shop is quaint and clean.

The tables need to be wiped down by staff members. It was obvious they were all used before I sat down.
I’m glad they had a portable heater in use by the tables. I just hope it’s not a fire hazard?

Bagels are stale. Sandwiches are not made in the order in which they are received. You can sit there and wait 15 minutes while people behind you get their sandwiches before you. Watered down Coffee always runs out. I’ve been coming to this place through three different owners for 20+ yrs But this new owner has just Let everything run down. I tried to keep loyalty, but I’m done.

I guess if you are desperate for a bagel, they have them there, although they were clearly made the day before somewhere off site. For a $3 bagel, I would expect more than a teaspoon of butter.

The staff was all exceptionally nice and helpful.. from the moment we walked in the door very friendly and welcoming. Huge selection of bagels even on Saturday afternoon. Bagels were a little basic looking but once it was extra toasted with toppings it was awesome. Great crunch outside while still soft inside. The coffee was a little”weak” in my opinion so definitely go for the dark roast as it had better coffee kick. And definitely needs more seeds on bagels. One of the sesame was almost bare.. Very reasonable price about $5-10 per person. Overall will definitely return when I’m in the area and would definitely recommend for a good bagel breakfast. The biggest pro was the really friendly and helpful service and they did the order perfect. Parking is plenty and there is a few tables for sitting in.
