A hidden gem indeed! Went here during the night time and it was a bit hard to see the restaurant. I suggest they should have a light up sign so many people can discover how good their food was. Servers are really nice and food is so delicious! It’s freshly served and I love how crispy the fries is!

Tried Pookies for the first time today! I am new to Bedias so I’ve never heard of them before. I got the BLT Basket, which comes with fries & a drink. BLT was delicious!! Bacon was nice & crispy. Perfect amount of Mayo, and the bread was delicious and buttery. My husband got a cheeseburger, and his friend got the Jalepeno burger, they both give it 10/10 The chocolate sheet cake and the Gooey Butter Cake was absolutely delicious and hit the spot!! Perfect small town vibes! I definitely recommend!! We will definitely be going back to try out other menu items

Had a pookie burger and fries. Really good, old-style burger. Bun was grilled, patty was cooked perfectly, and veggies on top were crisp. (Not a bit of that annoying juice that sogs out the bun.) Great food for a great price. Worth the stop.

If you’re anywhere near Bedias, do yourself a favor and stop at Pookies! My daughter and I had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was absolute perfection: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich, and I swear he finished it before I even got through my second bite. That says it all!

Pookies is a local diamond in the rough. Located in the heart of Bedias it caters to the pickiest of eaters. There you’ll find a chicken sandwich that is mouthwatering with spices that will wake up your palate. The tea is sweet as teas should be and fries that are fresh and seasoned. I left fully satisfied with barely room for their flaky and tart gooey lemon cake!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and the food has always been fresh, fast, and delicious. The owners will always do anything they can to make your experience the best it can be. Eat at Pookies recently started serving breakfast as well. All of the breakfast items were great, but everyone in our group raved about the biscuits and sausage gravy. Definitely worth a visit!

My husband and I wanted a place to have a decent breakfast and relax in between all our driving. Pookies did not disappoint. It is charming and the owners are amazing.
