The restaurant is located inside the JW Marriott and I was a little skeptical at first as most restaurants in hotels aren’t all that great, however they proved me wrong as I was not disappointed.

Ordered the crab beignets, tuna tartare, charcuterie plate, and tomato bisque soup. Let me start with the crab beignets. OMG they were sooooo good, it’s almost all crab meat covered in some kind of crispy batter and fried to perfection. I love that they weren’t skimpy with the crab meat. The dish is also served with some kind of deep fried patty made out of tomato, which paired perfectly with the crab meat. The tuna tartare was my second favorite, it’s served with a couple of chips and I’m not sure what kind of sauce they marinated the tuna in, but I wanna say it may be some ponzu and soy sauce? Whatever it is.. it’s delicious. I wasn’t super excited about the charcuterie plate, as most of the cheese tasted like goat cheese and I’m not a fan of that. The tomato soup was just mediocre, honestly… don’t waste your money on this soup. I think the Campbell’s brand is just as good.

Service was amazing. Server was attentive. Decor is beautiful..which is what you should expect for the Marriott. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Loved this place. Came here for brunch on Sunday and had their unlimited mimosas. The whole party I was with enjoyed our food and had a good time. The server was very fast to serve us and didn’t waste anytime. I would recommend. A+

Great spot with excellent food. Enjoyed the ambience, surprised when we find out it was hidden inside the Marriott, but it was very pleasant!

Great food! The menu is familiar and adventurous at the same time. I shared 4 small plates with a friend and had a cocktail and it was a lovely evening. The manager made sure we had everything we needed without being obtrusive and even provided light conversation about the quality and origins of the food.

The atmosphere was top notch – trendy décor, nice music, natural light, quality finishes and fixtures. I was actually shocked to see how affordable the menu was! Just go there and try it. There’s apparently a good brunch too. I’m gonna try that soon (but on Saturdays because Sunday brunch is a family-oriented kid thing which is cool but I’m there for the bottomless mimosas).

I had such a great time the first night I’m gonna give this place a few tries to test the consistency of the service. I’m so hoping to add Second Home to the Denver Rolodex.

We went to Social Fare for Mother’s Day brunch and it was just okay. The kid’s menu was the best part of the experience. The salmon Benedict wasn’t fresh, although they ended up removing it from our bill. We waited quite a while for our food, even though they weren’t particularly busy. A bit overpriced for what you get, but then again it is in Cherry Creek. I don’t think I would return, but it wasn’t terrible either. Also, they charged my card twice. I have 2 pending charges, the price before our tip, and the full amount including the tip. Both charges are pending and one will hopefully drop off, but quite annoying to have double the amount pending in my account.

I took my wife to Second Home for her birthday dinner after reading the amazing reviews, and they certainly did not disappoint. The server was amazing. He helped us to sort through the menu, and had a very good knowledge of everything listed. For appetizer, the calamari was some of the best I’ve had, including not only crispy calamari, but fried olives and pepperoncini as well. For dinner we had the braised bison short rib, which was fall off the bone and melt in your mouth delicious. It was also served with a stock sauce that was to die for. Also the Colorado striped bass, which was crispy on the outside, and seared to perfection. Last was dessert, the peanut butter cup torte. I think someone could probably be content eating only that for a meal, as it was so rich and decadent, we barely had room for it between us. Needless to say, nary a morsel of food was returned to the kitchen, and the plates sent back were all but licked clean. Lastly, we even got the chance to meet Chef Bolton, and it was obvious to us that he takes great pride in his food. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious feast that will not soon be forgotten.

After waiting a while after arriving one of the bartender’s was kind to track down their missing hostess. She was not the most pleasant and after seating us must have never told a server we were sat. After waiting again without anyone coming up to us, we decided to sit at the bar where we could actually see people who were working. Bartending staff was helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. Definitely worth the trip but only if they improve their front of house. Just go straight to the bar.

We ate breakfast on a normal Saturday morning. While the food was fine, it did not justify the $15/plate price. Neither did the service, which was strangely sub-par. Our seating was delayed because the host couldn’t locate enough menus. When I asked for a fork after the food had been delivered, the server completely forgot to bring one. I had to ask another server for it. The menu could bee more interesting and the service could be a lot better trained. If you have another breakfast option, I would take it.

My husband and I celebrated our 20-year anniversary here and the service was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Lindsay, our server, was knowledgeable, friendly and a true professional. The restaurant bought us champagne, a round of drinks AND dessert to celebrate. Seriously?! Above and beyond. Oh, and the food was divine. I chose the restaurant for the ambiance and it was lovely—beautifully decorated, warm, and romantic. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Second Home, for a memorable anniversary dinner!
