Welcome to Frankly Delicious Hot Dogs, of Perfect Peace, Inc.! We are proud to present our restaurant that creates jobs for individuals with disabilities and makes some delicious food in the process. We cannot wait for you to enjoy our unique homemade toppings and sides, exciting flavor combinations, monthly specials, and inviting atmosphere! This project has been in the works for a long time after noticing a lack of quality employment options for individuals with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities are entitled to an equitable, supportive, accommodating workplace! We are so excited to be able to provide that, and to nurture the spirit of community in Peterborough. Here’s to dishing up community, and eating good food!

This place is everything you would look for and a classic model of a top notch hotdog joint. From the atmosphere, to the food and service. This is a nonprofit business and they’re doing it right in every way. Don’t be afraid to ask for suggestion here.. they’ll definitely lead you in the right direction. Here’s my suggestion, get one of everything!

This place had a weird vibe. They have a huge tv but it wasn’t on. No music or anything. Just awkward silence. The male cashier needed a lot of help putting cards through the register. When I walked in at 12:45 I was concerned because I couldn’t smell anything. Nothing cooking. I was right. My hotdog WASN’T EVEN WARM. It was room temperature. Such a shame.

Have been waiting for the day I’d get to try them out for lunch. Will do my best to review as I would ANY location but end of review will expand. Location is right off 101 and easy enough for me to sneak out to for lunch. Their hours, not so much. So, today was my first chance to make it down after working up a good lunch hour appetite. 2 dogs, chili, cheese, candied jalapeños, side of mac. Under $20 and even with a handful of other patrons was ordered, paid, and on my way in under 10min.
Portions were perfect for my preference. Toppings more than made up for actual size of the dogs, normal sized all beef dogs far better than massive but “questionable” dogs… if that makes sense. Mac & cheese was tasty, a touch too much oil but I’ve paid more for far worse.
So, the elephant in the room… it was mind blowing and infuriating. These guys run a solid shop. It was clean. It was organized. It was quick, delicious, and priced right. It’s easily one of the better operating food places in town… so it was honestly really frustrating to realize how bad many other food spots in town are.
Would love to see a day or two a week where the hours extend to 6 or 7pm so I could grab dinner for the house too. Would love to see an expanded menu or even a second location that offers different foods or beverages. As much as I love chili dogs for lunch, I’d honestly order out at least once or twice a week if it weren’t so tricky for me to step away from the office.
Excited for my next chance to stop by and try more options!

AMAZING. Absolutely AMAZING. i got two all beef dogs, one with slaw, one with sauerkraut and pickles. everything was made in house and you could tell. The bun was good, the dog was good, the lady at the register is fantastic annnnnd its a non profit that helps people with disabilities. you cant go wrong with this place.

These hotdogs live up to their title! The “Fully Loaded Potato” has met its match! They not only dress their hotdogs, they tuck ’em in bed with a warm blanket of savory toppings. Or order the traditional frank in a bun. I always order whatever the “special of the day” is because the flavor meld wows my taste buds. My eyes close and “mmm good” exclamations resound!
But there’s so much more goodness to this enterprise than meets the stomach! Patron support of this new business contributes to promoting community inclusion and quality of life for our Monadnock area’s adults living with challenges related to intellectual and developmental disabilities. Employees work with a job coach to gain life skills in many areas as they help run the restaurant. The atmosphere is very unique. The wait staff make sure every guest feels valued and receives great service in a timely fashion. Please stop by and give them a try! Why settle for chili hotdogs and heart burn when a new culinary adventure awaits you. Whether gourmet or gourmand, come experience your fancy and beyond!
