Hi I just want to post this for keto diet needs have a fantastic shrimp fajita or any kind of meat fajita as you can see with generous portions for a fraction of the price that you have to pay at any regular Mexican restaurant… They do give you a tortilla with it but it’s on the side if you want it.. clean restaurant good service definitely recommend!

Out of all of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the county, this one had the best tasting food by far! They really care about the quality of the food and the portions are huge! 10/10

A few months ago we went to this place for the first time and it was outstanding. We revisited today and things have changed a bit. It was very affordable before and even though almost all the combinations seem to have gone up about $3, it’s still a pretty good deal but… The young lady that works there who unfortunately I believe is a family member really needs to learn a little bit about customer service or simply not work there anymore.
The owner is really nice but this young lady doesn’t smile, doesn’t say welcome, doesn’t say thank you for your business. After you order she just kind of sits there It leans against the counter looking at her phone. I did ask her a question about one of the salsas because there are no signs.. she told me what it was and said it’s smokey and very good. Those are the most positive words that came out of her mouth the whole time we were there.
If she shows him appreciation for the people who are visiting the restaurant and showed a little professionalism, I would have changed my rating higher but she represents the company and unfortunately they only get three stars this time.
We’re going to try them one more time. If she has the same attitude then this will be our last time. Hopefully she changes because it’s a nice place.

Go to this place often, but quality is terrible now. 10$ for the most soggiest watery disgusting quesadilla. Overpriced Mexican food, go somewhere else

We stopped in because we saw a review that said the food was fresh and tasty. I ordered the 2 chicken enchilada special for 9.95 and my husband ordered the beef burrito and chicken burrito special for 12.95. Both were very fresh tasting and filling! He ate half of the chicken and half of the beef burrito and he was stuffed! So we brought the leftovers home to have for dinner. The employees were very nice and patient with us while we went over the menu to choose. There are so many choices! We will have to go back so we can try something different
This is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter and pick up at the counter when your order is ready.

we’re from CA where we had lots of excellent Mexican restaurants and Alfonso’s has the best breakfast burritos in town. they are super generous with their portions and the guy who works the cash register is always wonderful. the young gal at the cash register is always rude but that’s o.k. we just try to show her kindness anyway.

I’m not from around here I live in southern Mexico but Alfonso’s was recommended as a solid place for Mexican food. As you can imagine from the star’s, it definitely was disappointing. Not only is it over priced at $15 for a carne asada burrito but it lacks flavor and sustenance. Not to mentioned the diluted guacamole they attempted to slap in there.

This is a walk-up restaurant, not a full table service restaurant.
That being said, they have a great selection of Mexican dishes to choose from, all decently priced, freshly prepared, and served hot. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was great, a big burrito for the money – my only complaint is that it was a little heavy on the jalapenos so muy caliente. My Wife had the taco salad and enjoyed that. I would definitely return!

Rating it one star is too high! Burrito brought to table with refrigerator cold green sauce poured on top and unmelted cheese. Absolutely disgusting! I couldn’t eat it! Has this establishment changed ownership recently ? Won’t return!
