The young guy behind the counter was very busy, but he held it together and was very nice and fast!! You could tell her was busting his butt trying to make pizzas and keep everyone happy. I got wings and my daughter got pizza. I wish the wings were a little crisper but that’s just my preference, the sauce was amazing. I tried bourbon. The garlic pizza was so good, had real garlic in it too! Will def be back to try their new flavor!!

My wife, mother and I frequently buy our dinner at Towpath and we are never going back. We live right around the corner and we have been ordering Towpath for over two years since we have lived in Jordan and the service has normally been good. Today, the $18 burger that I ordered came with nothing on it other than cheese and it was very overcooked. We asked for the burger to be lightly cooked and to have everything on it as usual. We also ordered two subs. At pickup I bought three extra slices of pizza and four cookies which made up a $68 order. A $2.50 cash tip was given at the counter as well. When I called to ask for a new burger I was told “I said we would do our best with the burger but we are a pizzeria and just because I didn’t have toppings on the burger it isn’t a big deal and the best she could do is offer me a $5 credit.” When I politely asked for a replacement burger a second time I was told no and that I could have a $5 credit towards another burger. The woman that served me did not offer any sort of apology. Not even a “sorry about that”. Every time I have ordered this burger it automatically comes with toppings and it’s not on the verge of being burnt. $18 for a burger than is burnt and slapped between a bun that it was stuck to because it was so dry is unedible compared to the Towpath Stacker Burger that I have ordered several times over the last two and a half years. It was my favorite item on the menu. I could not even take the bun off to put my own toppings from hime onto it because it was stuck together. I’m not sure what changed from one week to the next but this was a major disappointment in customer service to a family of loyal customers. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

I wasn’t going to post anything because we always have wonderful pizza from Towpath. we are always pleased with the pizza but this past Friday I ordered 3 large pizzas so that we would have them for the race track one was a pepperoni which was perfect, then we got a cheese pizza that was burnt on the bottom, and the last was a sausage and pepper which was under cooked and the sausage was not what we have had in the past. Needless to say no pizza for the track and 2 uneaten pizzas that will probably hit the garbage can at over $60 plus tip. Very sad

We frequently order both bone-in and boneless wings plus an antipasto salad. This easily becomes meals for two nights! The antipasto salad is a work of art. Next time I’ll share a pic.

Their food is normally really good. This time it was just okay. It was good but nothing to brag about. For the price of the food, they definitely need to step it up a notch with the quality and with the very outdated building. They are generally very sweet people though.

Even though it wasn’t opening time yet, the owner let me in out of the rain to wait while she made the first pizzas of the day. Oh my that first slice tasted so good, fresh out of the oven.
Then there were the garlic knots. Bring a friend if you will order these. I could only eat 7 of the 10. But they were delicious! I am coming here v. v. hungry next time so I can go 10 for 10.
I notice that another review mentions too much garlic butter on the garlic knots. I agree that we could have a philosophical discussion on whether garlic knots could ever have too much garlic butter. My main experience at other restaurants is of too little garlic butter! Towpath Pizza solves that problem.
Update two years later: I returned and ordered a veggie calzone. Excellent! Vast amount of veggies in a good sized calzone that can feed two. Dig in!

We ordered the garlic parm wings and they are very delicious and cooked right. The meat lovers pizza is outstanding and I love their roast beef subs with fresh tomatoes cut thick and the meat was cut just right. Everything tastes so good and we will be back for more

I enjoyed this location when it was Dadaboes. Thrilled to find the food is good, the decor is homey-down to the Erie Canal prints that were there at least thirty years ago–and that the service is friendly. I had a super milkshake there. This place is a worthy successor to Pizza Sam’s. Bravo. Keep it up. Clean to boot.
